Rotting Bananas
Very disappointed in this purchase. I've never complained before, but this time it's needed. The condition of the bananas is ridiculous. There was a hole in one, bruises on almost all of them. Of course we just had a lot of snow, so I will probably have to use them to bake something since most of them won't be edible.

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/20/2023Describes a product that was and still is inedibleThe bananas I received on March 15 were solid GREEN! THEY ARE STILL SOLID GREEN TOTALLY INEDIBLE! I finally tried to peel one and had to use a knife to pare off the peel and the inside was inedible so was discarded. I expect to get BANANAS THAT WILL BE EDIBLE WITHIN A FEW DAYS BUT THIS IS RIDICULOUS. If I were not disabled, I would take them back to the store myself and show the Produce Manager because offering these for sale is ridiculous. I took photos and posted them daily on Facebook because in all of my 84 years I have never seen bananas this green! I have no idea how long they will take to ripen, they have just begun to turn after SIX DAYS. Photos from today are included.Andrea

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/16/2023Terrible picking bananasEvery single banana was bruised and I couldn’t even eat them. And you could tell they were bruised on outside and over ripe too!! I know the shopper wouldn’t have picked those for themselves so it makes me mad they don’t care about the customer actually eating what they pay for.Dennis

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/05/2023Handle with careBananas are always good but there should be another way to keep them from brushing before they even make it home. It would be nice if they handled the bana with care. Nobody likes a bruised banana.Maria

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/04/2023GREEN, ROTTEN and way too SMALL!The bananas are green, starting to rot, and half the size of a regular banana! I usually eat half banana for breakfast and the other half for snack. If I was to eat half of this banana, it will be a quarter of a banana for breakfast and snack ! They are not larger than the palm of myBeverly

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/02/2023Obsurd Item selection in AppWhen I placed the order, I ordered 5 bananas as the item was listed an .26¢ each or .56¢ per pound However, there were 7 in my order weighing 1.96lbs. None of this makes any sense.Chase

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/26/2023Gone bananasToo green for my liking. Everyone likes their bananas different. I like mine a little more yellow than this. It's tough to pick out. I've lucked out prior to this run. Maybe green is all they had? ??♀️2excited

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/25/2023Worst tasting bananas ever!Though partially green, and tasting somewhat green, they were 1/2 rotted. The last group I received two were the same. Those that are so awful are the longest ones. Not only are they partially green, but they have started seeding out. They seemed more like Plantains but shaped like bananas. The inside was had, discolored like they had been frozen, and streaked with black. I tried to salvage parts of three bananas, but even then the taste was terrible.Catherine

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/17/2023Damaged goodsWe're damaged, half were so old that they fell off the stem before I received them and were unable to be eaten. I had to throw away 3 out of the 5; doubt if anyone will even eat the remaining two because we like ours green, so it was a waste of money. I blame it in the shopper.Holly
