A must for being out in the sun!
I got this for my husband, and also one for his brother. They both spend a lot of time in the yard during the summer, mowing, doing yard work, washing their cars, and cooking on the grill, and this amazing item is a MUST! In fact, anything you do outside in the hot weather can be made more pleasant just by running the Chilly Pad under water, wringing it out, and putting it around your neck. Such a simple concept, that makes such a BIG difference in how you feel. The temperature you are feeling at the time it is applied will almost instantly be reduced by 10 degrees! It remains cool for such a long time, and if it starts to warm up, you just turn it over and the cool is back. It is made of a soft material, and is very light-weight. Please give the Frogg Togg Chilly Pad a try. You will be glad you did.

Product has changed since last purchase a couple of years ago. Half the size and product mildewed after use. Still waiting for return instructions....

    Doesn't work very well for heavier folks.
    I got a chance to try this item at the golf course. A few others had recommended it so I thought "What the heck". I seemed to sweat as much using it as I did prior to purchasing it. I took it off my neck about halfway around and only noticed a small increase in sweat which I attribute to rising temps. My recommenders are all quite a bit thinner than I am and they still swear by it. So maybe it only works for slimmer folks. I cn't say for sure.

    not what I thought it would be.....
    I'm not really sure how people that have a big yard to cut is supposed to get any long time relief with this. It does not stay wet for very long in the heat, therefore it doesn't stay cool long. I have a friend that has several, keeps them in ice water and changes them regularly while doing yard work. I guess to me it just seems time consuming to have to stop constantly to have it work, not much different than wetting a normal towel and putting it around your neck!

    It really works!
    I have to admit I was skeptical at first... I bought this for my son who plays football and it really does work. We wet it and it keeps his neck cool in between plays. If it starts to warm, just re-wet it and presto, cool again. We loved it so much I bought another one just because!

    Does a great job
    I bought this for a trip to Disney World where it was hot and humid. This worked great! Kept you cool but wasn't soaking wet enough that it got your clothes wet. Neon color was a little bright but it worked out to be able to locate the friends in my group easily.

    These towels are amazing!
    I bought one of these towels for my husband, he plays golf a lot and it is so hot outside that this thing is perfect for him! He loved it so much that I bought 14 more towels that I'm giving away as Christmas gifts to our friends and family!
