Soft, comfortable, durable!! LOVE these socks!
We got these Fruit of the Loom Dual Defense Cushion Comfort ankle socks for our 8 year old son to wear. But I mistakenly got a large, instead of a medium and they were a bit big for him. So my daughter tried them on and they were a perfect fit and she absolutely LOVES them! She hasn't been liking the thin ladies socks, but she loves how cushioned and comfortable these socks are! We got the 10 pair value pack of the very soft ankle socks and these have great cushioned soles on them which makes them so comfortable. LYCRA gives them a great stretch to them too. They are also made with soft polyester and cotton blend. They have the Dual Defense Technology that has long-lasting moisture wicking and odor control. These socks are extremely well-made and durable!! They have reinforced yarn in the heel and toe. I also love the way they have the color-coded size on the side/bottom of each sock which makes laundry so much quicker, when you have 5 people's laundry together you can match socks so much easier! The only thing my daughter didn't like was that they did get slight pilling on them. But for the fit and comfort that didn't matter to me at all. I highly recommend these thick comfortable socks! We will definitely be buying more!!

Not durable - avoid!
These are the worst quality socks I've ever purchased. My son has only worn them 1 to 3 times and has torn a hole in the elastic of 12 of the 20 socks. That is from Aug 2022 until Sept 2022. One month! These are garbage. Really disappointed in Fruit of the Loom for producing such a terrible product and for Walmart for carrying it.

    I THOUGHT they could be mine
    I was so excited for these, I was going to have fresh, new socks! BUT, my kids found them first…I got to wear them once. They're so soft and comfortable with good stretch. They did kind of ball up in the wash but honestly the kids were hard on them. They are soft and I do recommend them, but hide them because your kids will take them!

    Very comfortable socks
    The reinforced cushioning is my son's favorite part of these socks. He says they are squishy and I know what he means ,they have that layer of almost bouncy feeling material that is so comfortable canopied to socks without that feature. The upper parts of the socks have less tension as well so for people like my son who don't like strong elastics gripping to their ankles ( sensory triggers in our case)these are a wonderful choice. They don't shrink after washing/drying. I really like the dark gray color of the foot bed, having the area that gets dirty the most not white makes the socks easier to clean after he runs around without shoes .

    Fruit of the loom has always been a go to brand for our family. These socks live up to that expectation. Not only are they thick and soft but they are comfortable. My son loved them and he doesn't love anything. They keep his feet dry even when he's being active and I like how well they are made.

    These fruit of the looms brand ankle socks are very comfy. They are size large 3 to 9 in (boys) kids but they are a bit big. I mean I wear a small in women's and they fit me perfectly. I really like this brand and would recommend giving these a try.

    Great black crew socks by Fruit of the Loom!
    I got the size large black crew sock for my 8 yo son. He wears shoe size 5-5 1/2. Wash well & have held onto the black shade no noticeable fading. Comfortable and soft but not too thick that it takes up space in child's shoe or bunches up. Labeled with a L for Large to keep separated from other size socks you might have mixed in the wash or to keep track of sizing. My son is picky about socks and he has no complaint on these. Stretchy Lycra fabric with reinforced fabric on toes. Fabric bounces back with wash, so far no stretching out or holes. The crew top stays up, no issues with sliding. My son wears a big boys size 5 to 5 1/2 and these socks fit great. I wore a pair and I'm a women size 9 shoe. Great fruit of the loom socks!

    Love Fruit of the Loom socks!
    Fruit of the loom socks ankle length. The ones we received are dual defense, so they have wicking and odor protection. These socks have reinforced heel and toe which helps to last a little longer. My son seems to be pretty hard on socks somehow, so reinforcement is always a good thing. We really enjoy socks that also have the cushioned sole as well. Because my son and I's feet are close in size, I love getting these big packs of socks and then we split them. The cushioning on the socks is just right, doesn't make you feel like you have to go up half size of shoe because the cushion is overwhelmingly thick. These wash and dry well. These are a great sock at a great value you just can't go wrong. They also have a size indicator on them which helps if you have several different size feet in your house to keep them straight. I highly recommend these socks for everyone.

    Fits my 8 yr old boy
    My son wears a size 2 to 2.5 shoe but he seems to need size L in socks. These socks fit him fine. Easy on and easy off. I do think it's not soft material that could be better. But 10 pairs is a good deal and also all black socks means I don't have to pair them after doing laundry. Should fit 8-10 yr old boys fine.

    Not top quality
    I was expecting a lot from these socks since they are Fruit of The Loom. These are classic black ankle socks. Right when I slipped them on I could tell they were thin. They had no traction, you will be slipping and sliding. The worst part is they shed. Little black pieces everywhere. Not expecting these to last a wash. The black pieces on the picture were from putting my feet up.
