Bulbs are not reliable
I have purchased several of the GE reveal LED A19 (HD Light) crystal clear bulbs for my bathroom and I can tell you that they are not reliable (they don't last). The bulbs don't burn out, but they do start to flicker after just a few months. These aren't lights that are being left on for long periods of time and they're not being dimmed. The bulbs are not cheap either ($4- $5 each). The warranty is pretty much useless since it requires that the defective bulb be returned to GE with a copy of the purchase receipt for a replacement. The expense and effort of doing this is not justified by the value of the bulb, and the people at GE know this. When you purchase an expensive light bulb from a reputable company, you expect better than this. In sum, they're good looking bulbs and they put out some nice light, but they don't last very long. Buyer beware!

    Don't waste your money
    I am a huge, longtime fan of incandescent and halogen reveal light bulbs. The color and brightness are the best on the market, and it truly makes a difference in how a room looks and feels. I have been using their halogen type most recently after delaying trying out the LED due to the package cost of the 100W. But after trying a few other brands and not loving them, I finally gave in. It was a big disappointment. The color looks like your average white bulb; no crisp, clear light. Also, because only the top of the bulb is lit, they are terrible to use in lamps. There's very little light produced anywhere other than the ceiling. If you're looking for high quality light or are just a reveal fan making the switch to LED, I wouldn't recommend these. They're not worth the cost and I don't think they're any better than your lower cost bulb.

    BUY GE BULBS TO BE SURE OF GREAT PERFORMANCE
    I only buy GE bulbs because they are the best and outlast and outperform the others, and almost all the supermarkets in my area sell only Sylvania.

    Perfect cool light replacement for older bulbs
    The perfect number lumens for replacing older lightbulbs. Also, these are not the yellow ones and not the too daylight like ones, instead they are a nice cool balance.

    Functional, but not as expected
    Light bulbs do what they are supposed to do. However, the color of light is not as expected. I was looking for bright white. This hue is more like amber. Very disappointed! I went to my nearest store and found what I needed to match the bulbs I already had. They are labelled "daylight," for you all who are looking for the same thing. They are the Walmart brand.

    Not a Great Value
    What's the great value? Save electric bill money with LED light bulbs? OR keep buying GV LED light bulbs because it stops working in less than 6 months. I rather buy a name brand knowing it's going to last a few years. Great Value, not so much.
