To Die For!!
These Ghirardelli Intense Dark Chocolate Squares are absolutely to die for!! These are 72% Cacao dark chocolate and melt deliciously in your mouth..it's super smooth velvety with hints of mocha, blackberry and dark cherry!! These are my new favorite chocolate squares and I will be buying more…

Too Bitter
Even though Ghirardelli is a superb product, I thought that the dark chocolate would not be as bitter as this was. This tasted way too bitter for me. I'll pass on this one. And stick with regular chocolate.

    Great flavor!
    The Ghirardelli Intense Dark Cholate Squares with 72% Cacao is perfect with my after dinner coffee. Full dark chocolate flavor, not bitter. The individual packaging is also nice as I do a lot of traveling.

    GHIRARDELLI makes delicious chocolate. I've loved them for years! I love the varieties. This pouch contains Intense Dark 92% Cacao dark chocolate. Each piece is individually wrapped for freshness. The taste is very rich. Pair this with strawberries and wine for a delightful surprise. Outstanding quality and excellence which never disappoints.

    Bitter sweet goodness!
    These are such a lovely treat to have any time of the day. I love having one of these little goodies with a glass of wine. Not overly sweet and not overly bitter, but just right. These little squares of chocolate are a delight for the taste buds!

    Best Chocolate!
    I got this Ghirardelli Intense Dark 92% Cacao Dark Chocolate because my Dad loves dark chocolate. He said that it was very good but just a little bit too bitter for his liking. I usually use this to melt it onto strawberries or bananas.

    Nasty tasting!
    I love Ghirardelli chocolate but this chocolate is nasty! I'm not sure if it's because it's intense with 92% cacao or what but I did not care for it at all. I was extremely disappointed with this chocolate since Ghirardelli is known for its amazing chocolates!

    Bold Intense Flavor
    Ghirardelli Intense Dark chocolate has a very bold intense flavor with the 92% cacao. This chocolate works best when paired with wine or a graham cracker. For me, the flavor was too intense to eat on its own. The bold packaging does a great job cueing the intensity of the chocolate flavor. The individually wrapped squares are convenient to take on the go, manage portion size, and alleviate any re-sealable concerns. This chocolate is for serious chocolate lovers!

    Intense chocolate
    I recently ordered Intense Dark chocolate by Ghirardelli. These chocolates come in individually wrapped squares. A serving is 3 squares and there are 3.5 servings included. The squares are firm, but can be snapped or broken easily into pieces by hand or bitten into. They have a delicious rich cholate aroma when you open them. You can smell the rich flavor of the cacao. These chocolates have 92% cacao so they are not really on the sweet side If you're looking for a sweet treat. They only have 2 gms of sugar. I choose to incorporate this rich chocolate into some of my morning coffee drinks, hot chocolate and baked goods. This chocolate easily melts on the stove in a double broiler. It would probably shave easily too, but the shape of the bar might make it difficult. I also crumbled some onto some ice cream. I got the lovely chocolate flavor and aroma and the sweetness of the ice cream evened the combination out. I also think they might work for making smores since the marshmallows are so rich in sugar. This chocolate feels very high end and provides an intense flavor to whatever you add it to.

    I love Ghirardelli Intense Dark Chocolate for so many reasons. These little squares can satisfy a sweet tooth craving in an instant. They are on the lower-carb spectrum so I can enjoy them without guilt. I like to break these up into little chips and put them in my low-carb pancakes or sprinkle them in with my cereal. I will take these to work to help me in an afternoon slump. Individually packaged means they travel well. These are not sweet, but if you love dark chocolate, these are right up your alley.
