cheap
not even 6 months and it started giving us problems right away. the ports are loose, the moise jumps when youre foing something clicking on the menu, keys get stuck that you need to put another key board to get it going. wouldnt recommended

    Horrible Experience
    I purchase this laptop and the screen went out. Worst experice. They have not given a refund after sending photos, request and daily they ask for the same information. Do not buy. Horrible experience

    Very Unhappy
    I received this item November 2nd I was unable to use it for school, it stopped working just pops up a black screen I cannot log in. Doesn't show anything. So upset and only a 30 day return!

    Laptop came with software glitch
    This is the third laptop I have bought, I always liked Gateway brands and in purple, it is a very pretty laptop. However, this particular laptop came with a glitch in the windows setup (first time) on the step after it tells you that the pc includes microsoft office, after accepting terms, on the next step the screen stays blue (freezes) on the background and it doesn't continue with the setup to finalize windows. However, I found a way to get around this, and if you have already entered your internet credentials during first time setup, unfortunately you will need to go to the Bios and reset the PC using windows recovery (new clean install). After starting a new windows setup, chose "I don't have internet" option for the basic windows setup in order to avoid or skip the microsoft office glitch setup part.

    Not a good deal
    Do not buy. Wifi constantly drops. Non-Microsoft apps are not welcome on this notebook. Not enough memory to do much of anything. It did seem to run outlook reliably but that is about it.

    Do not recommend this cheap laptop had issues
    I returned the item the very next day after it arrived. I tried multiple times and the system would not load completely. It would start the windows process and ask questions about wifi and other things then it would go to a blank blue screen and not finish. Turned it off and back on atleast 5 times still did not resolve the issue. Was very unhappy with this product and will not purchase another Gateway item.

    Was a great laptop...until it wasn't.
    I loved the features it had, loved the look loved thenproce. But here we are 2 weeks past my 1 year purchase anniversary and it doesnt even turn on anymore. Just crapped out yesterday. Screen seveloped white line across it around 6 months, all the screws came out of the bottom and at 12 months it started shutting off when not plugged in We did not even use the device much. Hesviest use was the last couple weeks of school.

    When i got it and opened it to set it up while charging, it loses charge connection and pops back up. Doesnt hold a charge and the charging light stays on then off again. dont know if its a faulty charging port or faulty charger.

    Do Not Buy!!!
    I bought this laptop the end of October. I have used it under 20 times. I never used the internet on it. I only used it to use a med program for work. It will not charge. Ive tried different chargers nothing will work. Nothing happened to it to make it stop working. No trauma, falls, nothing. Definitely do not recommend.

    Garbage! Light on but screen is completely black!
    This is the second gateway computer I have purchased and both within 30 days of purchase have simply quit working. I exchanged the first one for the second one and it is garbage just like the first one and since my 30 days are up, I can no longer exchange it or have it fixed! Horrible. Don't waste your money on this product!
