I would recommend this
Purchased this to replace a Chromebook that was in dire need of being replaced. So far so good. Enough RAM/Memory for playing my games, checking email, shopping. Still need to disable the touchpad as I prefer a mouse. I like that the number pad is on my right and the backspace key is where it should be (compared to where my desktop keyboard is). Enjoying my new laptop.

No Minecraft
Did not come with Minecraft! Got this for my daughter for Christmas, she was ecstatic it was green and came with Minecraft until it didn't! I have sent back and forth emails for over a month to Gateway about this and she still doesn't have Minecraft now it's too late to take it back and I just want my money back! I assumed they would help me fix this!

Bought this for my son for a Christmas gift and was very surprised when we turned it on and Minecraft was not installed on the laptop yet the box even says it's included. Reached out to Gateway support and received no reply. Expect to pay an extra $30 to install Minecraft.Alicia

Did not come with Minecraft as advertised but after many hours and I mean many hours with communication with Gateway and Walmart customer service the software was downloaded to my account. Tip if you are in my similar situation, Please share the Product ID of the laptop with Gateway and ask to have your situation handed over to higher level support. This will save you a lot of time. Gateway will tell you how to find your Product ID. I hope this help I like the computer display. Very good. Overall a positive experience if you have the time to resolve the issue.Vedalight

We Started up this device it starting installing or updating software, shut off during the process and hasn't been able to power back on since. Tech Support provide has an automated message that says no one is available and disconnects the call.Nikki

Its pretty trash, it runs slow, the touchpad on mine just randomly stopped working over the course of 7 days with very light usage. The worst part: IT DIDN'T COME WITH MINECRAFT. Like, how in the world do you mess that part up Gateway. Here's the worst part, I actually gave them a over a week to fix this, and I was very patient with them. But nothing, not a redeem code or anything, they just said to keep waiting. Well, i'm not going to wait until I can't return this thing and get my money back so here I am letting people know. Its a low end labtop, little features, no minecraft, slow ram, and will probably break/malfunction in a year or so, save your money and get a better labtop in the 300-500 range.Mark

Computer turned off, I hit the power to try to turn it back on and it would not power up. a green light would flash on the power sign but the screen was black and it didnt sound like any power was on to it.Christy
