Nice Razor
I really enjoyed using the Gillette Venus Razor because it did an excellent job at shaving my underarms and my down stairs area. I like how it comes with two razors. I like how it easily remove my hairs very quickly without any problems. I like how it didn't cause any irritations on my skin after shaving. I like how very appealing and unique the razor look which makes it stand out.

stick with original venus if you want close shave
I've used the original Venus since it first came out. this new shaver has so much protective metal guarding you, it doesn't seem to be able to get a close shave. handle is too skinny and hard to grip. i returned this, and bought refills for my original venus, which is great for bikini area

    Absolutely terrible.... didn't work at all, I was just touching up and it didn't help stubble city in the least. Had to go back to my normal shaver to get the smooth feeling. Would not recommend.

    Gillette, what is going on?
    its a nice looking razor, but it shaves like a butter knife! i have never waisted so much money on a razor made by Gillette! i get a closer shave with the 10 razors from the dollar tree!

    Disappointed
    waste of money, it doesn't get a close shave at all. I will stick with my venus 5 blade razor. Pretty handle, but blades aren't worth the money. If you want a close shave this ain't for you...save yourself some money and get the Joy or Harry cartridge refill they cost about $10 for 4 (5 blade) and they fit Gillette fusion as well as Venus.

    Was wanting more from this razor
    It's ok, I have used better razors. I don't feel like it's getting a close shave. It's supposed to be for pubic hair and I have fine hair. It's just not doing the job for me. The handle is also very smooth, which when you add soap it becomes slippery.

    Honestly, there's literally nothing special about this razor. I was very underwhelmed and did cut myself twice. Not the worst experience, but certainly not the best. It isn't what it's been hyped up to be, for sure. I'm not dragging it, but I wouldn't tell my sister or mom to buy it either.

    not worth your money!
    worst razor ever! I tried this razor along with all the new Pubic Line products. Stupidest mistake ever. Razor Barely cuts and ingrown hairs every time even after using the Daily Soothing Serum that is supposed to eliminate ingrown hairs. Do not recommend AT ALL!

    Worst razor ever
    Beware of the 5* star reviews collected for a promotion! This razor is awful for anywhere that has crevices (private parts, under arms, etc.) With only two blades, it's actually a hindrance and does not cut well! Not only that, the handle is dangerously slippery when wet! Razors with three or more blades work entirely better. I would love for the manufacture to respond to these issues considering it's so expensive. Not only is it not worth the money, the functionality is terrible.

    I didn't choose this razor to shave the specified area it's intended for. I use electric razor for that. I have sensitive skin especially under my arms. Shaving causes me to break out badly there. I wanted to see if this razor would be more gentle and eliminate or lessen the irritation that I get there. This razor did feel better for my under arms. There was so burning that a normal razor sometimes causes. After three uses I don't notice any difference in the irritation but it may just take longer to see those kind of results. It definitely didn't make it any worse. It doesn't provide as close of a shave but I'm hoping that if the skin smooths out that will change. I tested it on my legs too. I unfortunately have strawberry legs meaning it may look like my legs aren't shaved up close. Although in photo it looks like they aren't smooth then razor did a good job there. They felt pretty smooth. Again the razor didn't give as close of a shave. The razor glided with ease and I didn't experience any nicks. I believe this would perform great for its intended area. It's a nice sturdy feeling razor that's comfortable to hold.
