Great product
Great product, I use my GoPro on my motorcycle and this remote control make the operation very easy. The only negative comment that I have is that the battery doesn't last very long, it is low in about three hours.

It looks like a genuine GoPro remote control. I searched for remote control in Amazon and Bestbuy. I found exactly similar remote control but more expensive. Then I decided to order it from Walmart for a third of the price thinking that it was a nice deal. However, when I received it and watched Youtube videos how to pair this device with Go Pro Hero 5, I found it to be quite different from the genuine one. Don't buy it and waste your money. Pay more and get the real one.

    Mostly satisfied.
    Just what I wanted. I can control my GoPro without using up my phone battery. My only negative is the remote's screen goes blank in hot sunlight, but it still controls the camera.

    Not a new item, make sure you read the description
    Be aware these are not new items, they are refurbished. Nothing in the main portion of the product description says refurbished, you have to refer to the bottom area in the fine print of the actual description section to see that they say the item is refurbished.

    Deceiving description.. refurb and not new!!
    Very deceiving. This is a refurb, but you don't see that on the title of this page. Mine stopped working after I used it the first time. Now I can't pair it with any of my GoPros. The battery doesn't even charge, so I need to use the USB cable to turn it ON. When it turns ON, the WiFi icon shows up and it stops at that. Cheats!

    Don't waste your money!
    Tried connecting several times(looked up directions gopro's website so I know I was doing it correctly) but it just wont connect.

    USE NOT NEW BE AWARE
    be aware this is a used go pro remote not new. seems deceiving when they list the price of a new one then they show a discount which makes you think you are buying a new item at at discount price. battery didnt hold charge for long and would kick off conection i sent back for a refund.. customer service answer email right away and sent a return label right away .. now awaiting refund. i gave it a 2 start only because customer service answer right away
