Great mechanical lubricant; shouldn't be consumed
Works great as a bar and chain oil for my chainsaw. Canola was originally made as an industrial lubricant, this stuff shouldn't be consumed by humans, look up how canola oil is made on you tube.

    Great Value is TOP Value!
If you're looking for a clean, efficient, healthy cooking oil, GV Canola is the best. there's no smoking, no burnt or acrid flavour when re-used. After making french fries, I filter and then save the remaining oil in a separate container and use again with potatoes. There is less waste with GV Canola oil. It doesn't "cook away" like other vegetable

    Much better price
We always buy canola as it a healthier option to vegetable oil i believe. Great Value always seems to have the best price.

Walmart Canola is cheap and there is no gold one
9-24-2021. Walmart Canola oil is the cheapest on the market. All Canola oils are made in Canada, our neighbor, American companies just pour them in different bottles and market them for a higher price. Smart food use to be cheaper, but they were bought by US big company now US Chefs, which is more than Walmart. I have been using Canola oil for frying purposes only, filter after each use through a paper towel, use 3-4 times then through it in compost. Next place, Winco sells a standard Bottle of Canole for less than $2.40, can't beat the price, don't fall for the brand names.

Economical substitute for corn oil/olive oil
Healthy substitute for veggie oil and economical substitute for regular olive oil. I tried the 48oz and despite non cooking oil users admonishing; gallon size this time. Exactly as pictured.

Canola is a great neutral flavored higher smoke point oil that is wonderful for many things from deep frying to making mayonnaise. In fact, if you want, you can even make wasabi mayonnaise using this oil and some wasabi paste and some eggs and a blender and a splash of lemon. Try it and you may never buy mayonnaise again all because of this oil and a little bit of your own talent. Also, the price is good.

    Great Oil
When I first tried this oil, I was very satisfied. I love the way my chicken and French fires came out. Nice and brown. I always try to buy this product. I would definitely recommend this.
