Ordered it because I like it.
I mix the concentrate 50/50 with GV Cream of Mushroom.... don't add liquid ... just heat the mixture and eat it. An accidental midnight discovery. It tastes great and is very satisfying. Buy a can of each and try it. You'll like it as much as I do.

Good for a sauce base for cooking.
I used it as a sauce base for pot pies and it held up to all the meat and veggies, providing a smooth pleasant back note.

    Great soup for a liquid diet!
    I bought this soup when I had to go on a liquid diet and wasnt looking forward to it, but this soup tasted great! Didnt bother me being on a liquid diet with this to eat!

    We prefer this to the national brand, which has too strong of a celery flavor for the egg dish we use it in. This one is a bit more mild.

    Recommended for use in main dishes
    I cannot tell the difference in taste between this and the national brand. I use it as an ingredient in main dishes, and am pleased with it. I am also pleased it costs less than the narional brand. I do not eat cream soup, so I cannot state what this tastes like as a stand alone soup, but it is worth trying if you like such things

    I think the price difference between this and the name brand is so minute - It is a no brainier as to why anyone would buy a name brand over the Wal-Mart brand.

    Equal in quality to more expensive brands
    I make several holiday dishes that require cream of celery soup. The Great Value brand is considerably cheaper than the name brands and the product tastes exactly the same. The savings of 25-30 cents on each can adds up, especially to those of us who try to save money on the food budget. I purchase Great Value soups whenever possible because they are consistently cheaper in cost, without losing any taste or flavor.
