Excellent Overall Performance!
I was looking for a computer wherein I can do personal work, video streaming and in my spare time play word games, and I saw the HP VICTUS. What I love so much is the fast performance, excellent HDR Quality, and it paired very well with my 40 inch TCL Roku TV and Cannon Image-class printer. I also love that tunnel V-Shape in the center. It has an excellent, glowing highlight, and looks perfect in the dark when the room light is off. It does have Windows 11, wired key board and mouse. The performance is very high tech! I like to play bookworm and enjoyed the overall experience of the live action. Works splendidly well when I switch to work and study mode. I'm pleased with my purchase and wouldn't change a thing. HP did a superb job and I love the name “VICTUS” because it describes the outstanding performance of this gaming pc. I love it!

Probably a mistake. But, who will know?
Everything sounds good in writing, but if you open the computer case before even turning it on, you may feel like boxing it back up and going back to the store (I am still contemplating). Most of what you see inside the case is proprietary to HP and keeps you from upgrading anything beyond the 350W power supply that's permanently installed. There is room for a PCI powered GPU and some more SATA powered components on the power supply connectors. The generic RX 6400 graphics card installed is powered only by the board and has a 1" fan with a smaller heat sink. This thing gets hot fast. Games felt nice at 60fps and looked good, and without monitoring ambient and hardware temps this thing could go up to 80.C! (was at 70C before I even realized, "but the games were awesome," you'll say) The Ryzen 5600G CPU itself is great (and technically the only reason I'm considering keeping it). The CPU fan and cooler is very bad. HP has installed a tall, generic heat sink, with a very small generic case fan. The CPU will also reach 70C in no time, without monitoring. Intake air is only achieved by vacuum from chassis fan. No room for any more fans to fix this problem. The face plate has no inlet vents, only the holes punched in one side of case panel, with no fan behind it. 512GB M.2 SSD is nice; HDD and non M.2 SSD mount available - just don't cut yourself on the pressed sheet metal everywhere. 8GB DDR4-3200 RAM is a nice start. Room for 2 modules. RGB 'infinity' logo on the face is very cool, and the case itself looks cool from the outside. Ultimately, it needs a new graphics card with more than one fan. The power supply probably wont handle too many more fans or GPU upgrades. So, you won't fit a $50 EVGA 600W supply without a new case. The motherboard will not fit in any other case. The Ryzen CPU, however, can be uninstalled and go in whatever other gaming PC you may have with a lower powered Ryzen 5. (and use the Wraith cooler on this one). **Do not buy this if you have any intentions on replacing or upgrading any part.** It is still better than a PlayStation 5 if your kid can keep it from melting. -Also, there were no pictures of the inside of the PC on the site for a reason; if you saw this thing you wouldn't have ordered it online at half the price of retail. I feel more comfortable saying, "I bought an overpriced Ryzen 5600G and a 512GB M.2, and it came with a bunch of stuff on it." (at least it has Windows 11 /s)

Great value low end gaming pc
I like that for a LOW END GAMING PC it gets the job done. I run gta and Fortnite smoothly on it and have had no complaints yet 4 months later. I get 30-40 fps on gta and Fortnite but keep in mind this is a low end starter gaming pc and can be upgraded to be better if needed. Me personally I play here and there so I don't need to

I'm not sure I would recommend- not a gamer though
It's not working very well already-I'm not sure if it needs more memory or if it's just not a very good computer. I didn't buy it for myself, it was for my son but twice now he's complained about the “slowness” and has had problems with the volume not working for a few days. I'm not familiar with this brand or gaming computers and haven't looked at the volume issue myself but it seems to give us more issues than the “normal” computers I buy.

    Affordable and powerful
I decided to go with this specific model compared to a competitor since the price was similar but the warranty offered was way less through Walmart. My brother uses it to play fortnite, minecraft, roblox, and more. I personally would add one more stick of ram (only 2 slots btw, one taken up by the 8gb) to make it pop. Definitely recommend.

    parents don't buy this
I bought the pc with intentions to upgrade it down the road. If you're a parent buying this for your child just keep in mind a console is still the better way to go. if your a hobbiest like myself you'll save a couple hundred dollars to reuse some parts and get a good mid range pc out of it honesty I'm only writing a review because the review section for this item also mentions other towers in the same line up. Walmart get it together. you're going to confuse people.

    Best investment!
Probably the single most best and most expensive purchase I've made outside of. Car. So far great graphics and everything. Do not just click when you set up. I signed up for some stuff I did not mean to. Outside of that performing to expectations this far!

    Nice Unit
So far I have been impressed with the speed and power of this unit. I upgraded from a fairly old Dell so it should be a very noticeable improvement and I have not really ran it through its paces yet so to speak. It is a gaming unit and I am not really a gamer but I was hoping the extra power would be just the thing for video transfer and editing for instance.
