a real bedtime winner
My usual size is 2x. The beefy long sleeve was purchased as experimental sleepwear, and it's perfect, long and roomy, more like a gown than a tee, and just warm enough for our current changeable spring weather. I did choose a heather design, for its more relaxing 50% polyester blend, as 100% cotton tees are ofttimes too heavy.

Hem Comes Undone
I've made two separate purchases for multiple long sleeve tees and on the first washing and the hem of one shirt in each order has completely come undone!

    BUYER BEWARE, THE QUALITY HAS CHANGED.
    I've been wearing these shirts for years, I buy a few new ones once or twice a year. I received three new ones last week, washed them in cold water, tossed them in the dryer for half an hour, folded them up and tucked them away in the drawer. I put one on this morning, over a cotton tank. I had trouble getting the layers to lay flat and wrote it off to cotton-on-cotton friction. While the coffee was brewing I caught my reflection in the kitchen window and was not happy to see the collar splayed out 2" from my neck. Upon closer inspection and comparison with one of last year's shirts, I noticed a line of stitching missing where the collar meets the shirt. I compared the circumference of the two collars, also. The new is significantly larger. I checked the other new shirts and found them to be the same. Hanes has ruined a perfectly good product! I'll be in touch directly for a refund.

    The T’s are made of excellent cotton and iron great. I wear a woman size 4 so I ordered a man’s small that fits well. However, the T fixed a little tight in the midsection. Please make the T’s more roomy in that area; otherwise, I highly recommend them for purchase, the cotton is magnificent.

    Oh no! Tags are back. Why?
    Beefy-T shirts are my favorite. I have over a dozen that are still good after years of daily wear. But, they do have paint spots, bleach spots, grease spots, and an occasional rip. So, I ordered 8 short sleeve and 8 long sleeve. My old ones were all tagless, but now those annoying, scratchy tags are in all these new ones. Even after I cut them out, the little bit that is left in the stitching will still annoy me. Tagless was a great feature.

    Beefy tee's
    Shirts are great, but I ordered 3 shirts to get an additional percentage off. When I ordered, all 3 showed in stock, but one ended up out of stock, so I didn't get the discount and was not offered an opportunity to order a shirt color that was in stock to keep the discount in place. That's bogus in my book!

    Cool shirts really
    These are great, simple long sleeved tee shirts. The material is fairly soft 100% cotton. They wash well. I have for over ten years bought these shirts. They are fairly thick fabric- but not too thick. I've lived and worn these now daily in the Florida Keys and Hawaii where it's warm, sunny and humid. I sweat of course and the shirts are still ok comfortable. I used to only buy white ones, but I'm switching to mint green now. If I feel real hot, when working in the sun or from some strenuous work, I sometimes remember to take my shirt off, put it under a water spigot and get it real wet. Then it is as cool and refreshing as the new mint green color. :-) K2
