Cute interactive toy
I love interactive toys. These are cute and my kids love them. This toy hatches out and is interactive. Very fun for kids. We got these on a black Friday sale so they had a good price.

    My daughter loves hatchimals, but ONLY the GIRL ones. There is a way to tell what a hatchimal is WITHOUT hatching it. Yep. I figured it out. Now onto the hatching. Pull the tabs and it gets all started up, glowing, cooing, gibber gabber, then crying, then whining, the lights are changing. Ohhh. It made the hatching startup noice. Nevermind. False alarm. It tricked me. These things are super cute. The older ones hatched in less than 5 minutes. These models take forever. It was a nonstop back and forth fooling with it for almost an hour before it started hatching. Now if you wanna know if the hatchimal is a boy or a girl hatchimal BEFORE hatching it. Take the egg, turn it upside down. There is a small slat on the bottom of every hatchimal egg. You will be able to see a small line. It will either be pink or blue. This is actually the hatchimals highchair that is also inside of the egg with your hatchimal. So the color of the highchair tells exactly what the hatchimal inside of the egg is. Pink highchair means a girl hatchimal. Blue highchair means boy hatchimal. You do not have to turn the keys or activate the egg to see what color the highchair is. These are really cute. My daughter has practically every hatchimal there is. All girl hatchimals of course

    batteries were dead did not hatch :(
    toy is cute But the whole experience of this toy is to watch it hatch ours did not work my little girl was so disappointed..I had to waitbtilnshe wasn't around and "hatch" the shell some so she thought it hatched while she was away..the batteries were dead and once we got it out and changed them the unicorn worked fine, but the experience for her was not there, very disappointed

    Good but bad delivery
    This is a gift and it was also just delivered without any bag or anything a random person just got out their car and I was with my daughter and they handed it to me. I was very upset.

    Ordered this for Christmas and they dropped it off at my front door.... NOT IN A BAG OR ANYTHING . The best part is my daughter saw the egg just sitting outside the front door . I had to give it to her at that point. Who does that just sits a toy out in the open for all to see..... that's 2020 for ya!

    it took a long time to hatch
    This toy is amazing no malfunctions not anything wrong with the toy itself but it did take about a hour for it to hatch so read the instructions on that and also the egg looks like its peaking out of the box but that just the cap overall amazing toy.

    Delivery sucked
    I've had four toys just given to me. Luckily I have them sent to my work so my kids don't see them. Not liking the Walmart delivery! I would rather wait the extra two or three days and have it come from a delivery company not just a random unmarked car and stranger

    Same as the previous person...the delivery person handed the toy right to my kid without a box of any kind. It came in a plastic Walmart bag with a delivery sticker attached. Very annoying since this was for Christmas and I label everything as gifts when ordering. The toy itself was a great deal and she was excited but it sucks that it was ruined as a surprise.
