Husband loyal to Herman Survivors!
My husband absolutely loves these boots. He's happy they fit comfortably and don't drag the front of his foot because of the steel toe. He's a size 12. They had a quick break in period and the laces actually stay tied! This is his second pair of Herman Survivors. He needs the higher boot for ankle support plus a steel toe because he is a garage door installer. My daddy used to always wear this brand as a truck driver when I was a little girl. I'm positive we will be purchasing this brand of boot for years to come. They wear well and last longer than any other boot he's tried.

Junk new design inferior construction
New sole design less than a month old and already fell apart been buying them for 11 years always got a year out of them. Bad choice to change

    i picked the short stick
    took 2 months to break them in, and even then, still very uncomfortable and stiff. followed any advice given, nothing worked. my friend needed a boot similar to mine, so i gave him these ones. in pur entire existence as friends he has never flat out returned a gift. yikes. and for $60, in this economy, tough! sadly, they were too worn after one days use or i would have returned them.

    Very good boot for the price and very comfortable
    This is a good boot for the price, very comfortable from first time wearing them. I can wear them in summer working farm and feet don't get to hot and wear in the winter and my feet stay comfortable while working in the woods,unless it's below 20 out.

    The good the bad. The ugly
    I love the comfort but they don't last very long. I've had mine for about 3 months now and the soles are eaten up and especially the shoelaces. They are shredded

    BUYER BEWARE, TOTAL JUNK!! My husband bought these for work and the sole came separated from the boot after a week. Total crap boots anymore not worth the money!

    That's not the same anymore !
    I just use these boots for about 10 days and the sole are already ripping. I don't know what's going on with these boots now, because I use to use those for about 1 year and it never happened before.

    1st was great 2nd was a complete flop.
    The first pair I bought of these held up really well so when I went to purchase new ones in mid November I bought these again. My daughter also purchased a pair of these because my first ones worked so perfectly. However, these tore up quickly. The last pair the sole was perfect but the insole was destroyed quickly. My daughter has had hers since January. The soles on both pairs are now coming off. I'm disabled so it's not like I'm out hiking or rock climbing all the time. I walk to my neighbor's house and help with her private dog sanctuary then back home twice a day. I also go around my place playing in the gardens and mowing. Doing minor stuff. I can't do much more than that. I've attached pictures showing the damage. This just doing minor stuff.

    I purchased these boots for my son for Christmas and the sole of the boots are falling off. I have to keep using gorilla glue on them every other day to keep the sole on. I never had this happen before. I purchase these boots a few times

    i dont know what yall did but these boota are make horrible now these boots are less then 2 weeks old (work boots for cutting grass) and both souls are already ripping ive always used these brand boots and ever since the look and name of them change they arent the same i am really dissatisfied with them and considering the fact ive been waiting momths for my size to be available and once they are i get these DO NOT BUY THEM

    Have bought several pairs of these boots They last on average 6-8 months for me I'm in masonry construction field Not sure if I would recommend 2 pairs/year $120 guess I can't complain
