Hot Wheels + Mario Kart = Perfect Pair
Right out of the box, this toy offered lively colors and careful representations of game achievements. After an assembly time of about 45 minutes, we were raring to go. My six year old was eager to help with stickers but some placements are difficult to reach. Once assembled, we discovered that we did not have the four D batteries that were required so we had to wait a couple hours before heading to the store. Dad to the rescue when he got home the work and off we went. This game captured our six year old and was able to hold his attention (and ours) for a solid two hours. I had to quit after about 15-minutes as the frenzy of the track and the vast number of other HW cars this track could handle had my head spinning. My son went through every single HW car that we owned and discovered about 20 other cars that did well, the motorcycles, however, did not (but, like I said, he tried every one of them!). After a week of use, this track remains a favorite go-to when waiting for the next thing, like Mom getting ready for church, going to the bus, etc. We have also had a couple sleep-overs and it's been a hit with every young man who comes to stay (and a couple ol' geezers, too)! PROS: • Realistic representations of game-related achievements. • Works well with other HW cars, including the Mario and Luigi collectors set cars. (Toad, not so much be he looks good sitting in his house!) • Works well with Hot Wheels City sets through well-thought-out and designed on/off ramps • Flag Counters allow for a five lap race or continuous racing. CONS: • Of the two obstacle buttons, the red one broke within the first hour of play. This “mushroom” button is designed to send an opponent into a dungeon. You whack it a bunch of times when the opponent gets close. • Item takes up A LOT of floor space and is not easily moved from one place to the next. I will be gluing the based with two movable joints so that it can be more easily carried/transported from living room to dining room by my six year old. Overall, the quality of plastic is outstanding, the hours of play offered is amazing, and the adaptability of the track to fit other HW Accessories is stupendous. I can't wait to purchase the other two add-ons, the other four cars and to see what's coming up next in the future. Thank you for allowing us the chance to play, rate and review this AWESOME toy! Do NOT purchase online.
This is more so for Walmart rather than the product. Do not buy this product online if you plan to give it as a gift. The box is destroyed so I can only guess the pieces on the inside are either missing or destroyed. I knew it would arrive without an exterior box which still makes absolute no sense to me. You do not have larger boxes for large items but can send a small item in a huge box? They put stickers over the display parts of the box. Its all ripped open and taped back together. Apparently Santa had a rough flight this year but it turns out Ill be gifting this from us to him since his sister found it sitting in the pile of snow out front. Unbelievable and unacceptable. I should have just purchased it was Target.

    My son loves this! Terrific invention!
    I bought this for my son for Christmas and he's played with it non stop! This Mario tracks works incredible, no issues with it going around the track at all. The batteries last very well, we've had to change them one time in months. This was very easy to assemble, with clear instructions, also easy to disassemble and store away for later. This will make a terrific gift for birthdays or holidays. My son absolutely loves mario and hotwheels so he was very very happy with this set. 10/10 we definitely recommend!

    Good while it lasted
    My son received this as a gift for Christmas and unfortunately it broke within a week I came on the site trying repurchase track pieces but unfortunately there is no option for that. So I now have a huge pile of plastic to look at instead of a toy play with. The picture is just 1 piece of the track that broke.

    Terrible design. Broke after few days.
    I bought this for my son for Xmas. Set up and used for a few days. It's already broken and now completely unusable. Can't connect the track together. So disappointed and a waste of money.

    Broken after 1 day
    This product has been used 2 times. The track is broken and the toy can't be used! The cheap construction! Also bought additional cars to play with on the track and they don't work! Only Mario and Yoshi! The other cars are too big and fall off the curves. This is not worth the money. Do not buy!

    Must have for Mario fans!! Or even tracks.
    My boys love this!! If your kids are into Mario, they will love this, or even tracks and cars. This track works amazing, I was iffy at first because most don't work, the cars just fall off, not this one. The cars stay on and go around with no issue. Now once the batteries start to die they will fall off but the batteries last a good 2 weeks, and thats with them playing with it pretty regularly. The instructions were very clear, only took me about 10 minutes if that to put this together. Definitely recommend, this would make a great gift!

    amazing track
    This is a very well made hot wheels track .My son loves the most that its mario related the colores are great its supper easy to put together it took me 10 minutes, it's easy to get out of the box. my kid is entertained for a very long time. the only think I personally dont like is the noise you put batteries on to on of the attachments in order to make it work when you turn it on it's very loud so I got to be in a completely different room when he plays with it I do not do well with loud noises but other then that it's a amazing toy that is loves by my son very much and he can play with the neighbor kid when he comes over.     Kids love it!
    My son was super excited to get this in the mail. Took about 30 minutes give or take to put together. He is 8 and could have done it himself but wanted to have others help too. It does take D batteries. No my son and my daughter have really enjoyed this. Normally after like 10-15 min they get bored and go do something else but they have been racing the cars all day.     We got this for our son for Christmas. He loves playing with it. And now he can't play with it because the track is broken. We spent a lot on it and would like a replacement part for it. My son is very disappointed now because we can't put it back together.

    Great toy but not good quality
