Love This Hoverboard!!!!
I was so excited to be able to order this for my 13 year old daughter! She's been wanting a hoverboard for years but I just couldn't afford it. This one is very affordable and the value you get for your money is top-notch! This board is a solid piece of equipment. The led lights are amazing and bright! And it zips around! It's so much fun watching my daughter ride this thing! Seriously I can't get over how awesome it is! It can go up to 6 mph and it has a distance of 3 miles. For my daughter she'll mostly just be using this in the house and we have a concrete pad in our backyard that she can ride it on too. So this will definitely be used all the time. My daughter says that it responds very well to touch. She's already like a pro on it! 100% pleased!!!

Not worth it
Personally I would recommend you spend the extra dollars and get the hover boards that hold more weight, have a longer battery life, and can go faster. Your child will grow out of this fast as it doesn't have a very high weight limit. The better quality ones can hold double the weight and this one already cracked under my son who weighs 115lbs which is still under the weight limit. They also have ones that can play music and have blue tooth capabilities along with different color lights. This one just has one standard color light. It dies too quickly as well and takes longer to charge than other hover boards I've used. On the plus side it does balance and recalibrate decently. I would only recommend this for a younger kid if you're not looking to spend the extra money for the better features, just remember to stay well under the weight capacity.. we broke it and we were still under by 15lbs.

    It's fun
    I got this for my 13yr old for his birthday. My girls ages 9 and 6 both have hooverboards and love them and always were fighting so we got my son his own . This one was recommended for older children so got it. It's easy to use and charge . It does have led lights which is probably my son's favorite however I was very disappointed that it wasn't Bluetooth, both my girls are and there for younger kids so this was a major disappointment. It goes 6mph which is a decent speed . I liked that the weight was more but it was still only 130 and my 13yr old is already 110 . Overall it's fun and works easy and seems decent . He enjoys it only complaint would be the Bluetooth capabilities.

    So many hours spent on this hoverboard already!
    Oh my goodness, this hoverboard has been the best thing. My 10 year old has been asking for one for over a year. I'm so happy we ordered this. When it came in, we tried it in the driveway and he immediately got the hang of it! I love that it beeps when something goes wrong (if you go too fast and jump off or something). It's extremely sensitive. The instructions summed it up to basically stepping into it, gaining your sense of center gravity and make sure you're able to stand still, then simply THINK about the direction you want to go and your body will naturally lean just enough that the hoverboard will follow. That was the best advice!! That's what we tell everyone who wants to try it, and it works like a charm! We've had it for nearly a month now and there have been no serious falls or injury. As a homeschool family, it makes a great thing to roll around on during 5-minute breaks between subjects. My 7-now-8 year old can roll around on it perfectly too! I love that the two ends are hinged in the middle so that it swivels naturally. There are two horizontal lights under each heel of the foot that light up when it's moving forward. It holds a a charge for a good length of time. Very quality made. I'm so happy about this hoverboard!

    Sturdy Nice Looking Machine:
    This came well packaged in a Heavy-Duty outer box and about five inches of Styrofoam packaging material on the top and another 5 inches or so on the bottom so that it was completely encased to avoid damage! It also comes with an easy to read and understandable User's Manual. Another thing I liked about the enclosures was an extra Serial Number Sticker that one can peel off and save should you need to identify your property or for warranty purposes whilst the duplicate stays on the unit. Another unexpected bonus was that the one I received came completely charged up and ready to ride right out of the box :-) This one is Black on the main base and tires. It has some Very Nice LED headlights and also for lack of a better term, on the inner wheels. The lights are not cheesy looking but actually pretty cool. It has a Power on light along with other colored lights to tell one when it is Fully charged or that it is in Charging mode. My 13 year old grandson really likes it a lot, and as I mentioned in my Review Title; it is a Good looking machine and feels very sturdy.

    For younger kids
    I like that this doesn't go as fast as some models because I have younger kids. It goes up to 6 mph and gets around 3 miles on one charge. They o my downfall is that it is only rated for 130 lbs. it's super cute at night because the wheels light up and it had from sensor headlights.

    Works like a charm!
    Kid and teen approved! My 13yr daughter loves it although she still has trouble controlling it. It's not as easy as it looks but it totally depends on the kid my 9 yr old nephew had better balance than my daughter I'm sure with practice she'll get better at it. I really like how sturdy it feels and it also has a good weight to it. The best thing about the hoverboard is that the battery actually lasts are really long time. My kid plays with it about 30 minutes at a time and it has charge all day and even the next day. If your on edge about this hoverboard just buy it this one is nice and sturdy and it keeps charge for quite some time plus the cool lighting design looks awesome.

    So much fun!
    We were so excited to get this hoverboard and now that it's here, it does not disappoint! My 7 and 14 year-olds have never tried one before and thankfully this hoverboard is easy right out of the box. You just plug it in, charge it, and go. My 14 year-old is really cautious and hates anything that involves the possibility of falling, but this hoverboard is too much fun to pass up! My 7 year-old has taken to it like a fish to water! Can't wait for better weather because my kids want to ride all day. We're thinking of getting a buggy attachment for this, too. The lights make it look really cool. I also like that it's heavy because it feels solid beneath your feet and less likely to fly out from under the rider. I just wish these were around when I was a kid!!! So. Much. Fun!

    this hover 1 rebel hoverboard will be loads of fun for the kids. this one is black, has a power button and charging port. comes with all the instructions you need to use it.has lights that come on after its charged.comes with a plug into your outlet charger. has a battery indicator for when its low on charge. weighs under 13 lbs. can handle up to 130 lbs. charge will last up to 7 hrs. i think its a really cool ride for older kids. exciting. just make sure there is someone with them when learning to ride it.

    Good value and a quality toy
    I am reviewing the Hover-1 Rebel Kids Hoverboard w/ LED Headlight, 6 m Max Speed, 130 lbs Max Weight, 3 Miles Max Distance – Black. My 14 year old daughter has been enjoying this new toy. She fits under the weight limit. This weekend I watched her master this device and have a few observations. The packaging is great! The documentation included is quite good. It was easy to charge and then take it outside for a test run. We did not run it continuously to see how long the batteries last. Nor did we test the 3 mile range. That would be a boring, slow trip. We live near the beach. So a test of the 5 degree incline capability would not be possible. She took multiple trips around the parking lot and got more comfortable turning and reversing course. This is her first experience with a hoverboard. I can say it took two hours to get the confidence and skills necessary to smoothly ride the board. The most difficult task is to step on and start riding. Once moving, it seems rather easy. Last night she took the board outside and showed me how it lights up. There are many flashing led lights on the front and sides of the board. It was a great little show. The board seems to roll best on the really smooth areas of the parking lot. Bumps and loose gravel make the ride unstable. Maybe part of that problem is lack of confidence by the operator. Time will tell. Her next goal is to use the board while walking the dog. It is a 10 lb. Dog, so it may actually work. So in summary: Great package, interesting color, fun times.

    This is a great hoverboard. At first, the kids were apprehensive, but the moment they saw my husband try it out, they immediately wanted their turn. (He is not even close to the weight limit, so I was impressed that it worked well for him.) It looks cool and the blue lights are awesome. The kids put on their helmets and pads and were off. It takes a few minutes to learn how to use it and to gain confidence on it, but the kids quickly learned how to use it within the first session. It has a smooth, sturdy ride and is super responsive. It is really forgiving: they've used it standing forward and standing backwards on it and it worked great both ways. It has a strong chemical smell, so we keep it outside and charge it in the garage. I would definitely recommend this and now I have to look for one for my husband.
