Wmrt had this 25 dollars less expensive than local stores, and no; shipping fee. The unit was a snap to replace the same branded item that had failed, took 5 minutes. It is so quiet I had to verify it was running.

Disappointed with this product
I have the badger 5 plus 7, which came with our home that was built in 2007. It hasn't even been 8 years, but woke up this morning to find that this product was leaking like crazy. Not just a few drips here and there, but leaking just as fast as the water drained from the sink. This was surprising since we always throw food scraps in the garbage and just rise the plates clean. The leak is from the bottom, and all the plumbing to and from the unit show no leaks whatsoever. It's a shame because my parents have had another name brand unit for nearly 15 years with no trouble at all.

    Easy replacement of Badger 5 disposal
    My Badger 5 disposal finally developed a leak after 14 years of use. I purchase a new Badger 5 and replaced it myself. Since all the connections were all the same, it made it easy to install the new unit. The only issue I had was attaching it to the sink mount. The unit was a bit heavy holding it with one hand and turning the locking collar to the mount with the other hand. Otherwise, all went well. Hopefully, I will get another 14 years of use with this new Badger 5

    Could not have worked out better!
    Perfect replacement for my previous Badger 5. The cord attached was same as original. Installation was easy. New design is shorter overall but all hookups are in the same spot as the bottom of the unit is where they shortened the new version. It also comes with a 3 year warranty not 2 like the prior version. Ordering was easy and shipping was fast. Price was the best out there.

    Easy replacement of leaky disposer.
    Watched several YouTube videos and had no problem replacing leaky Model 5 disposer with this new one. I used a car jack to lift the new disposer into position. It is not real heavy but was awkward for me to lift with one hand and position with other. Very easy to connect the plumbing. This may be my first plumbing job I have done that didn't leak.

    This is a review of the failed product before this one was installed.
    The same InSinkErator failed in my brand new home. Ruined the cabinet underneath and I'm seeking restitution. It's hard to rate this new product being it is new. If it fails too, I'll seek restitution for this one as well. What say you?

    Going great again..it's Badger time.
    I replaced the Badger with another Badger. They are heavy duty and my last Badger was good for 8 years. They are reasonabl priced and even better priced at Walmart.
