Quick replacement
I found my pool half empty and my pump burned out on Friday morning, and had my replacement by mid morning on Monday. I was extremely satisfied.

Stopped working after only a few weeks. I was out of town when it came in so I didn't get it installed until I got back in town, it ran for just a few weeks and quit. By that time, I wasn't able to return it because 30 days had passed.

    Not an efficient pump
    First pump that came with pool lasted a month. This pump only 13 days. Will not purchase from intex again. The pump cannot handle cleaning the small pool--continually stops working--it burns out. I have had pools for over 20 years and they were always clean. The water is green despite adding chemicals and testing water. The pump does not seem to handle the load.

    Quiet. I like that there is an on/off switch with a timer, but wish it was closer to the pump instead of at the outlet where it is too big to plug into my outlet without a short extension cord.

    Very happy with my purchase
    Bought pump to go with the 10 X 30 pool. Pool was sparkling clean in about an hour. Pump was so easy to hook up that a 70 year old woman (me) did it alone in about 20 min. with no leaks. Shipped so fast that it arrived a day early. I highly recommend this pump and seller.

    This was easy to install as a replacement pump. Came with all parts needed. But only worked for 3 weeks I change filter with new one weekly. On the 3rd change when I turned the pump back on it was shaking and stopping pumping then restarting again so I shut it off made sure filter was properly lined up and it was so I went to hit the reset button and as I picked it up it just came back on and the reset test buttons will not work. The the let switch on the actual outlet didn't trip so there wasn't a short it never has gotten wet because we'll it hasn't rained in over a week and I have the plug covered under enclosed steps. So I unplugged everything reset everything tried turning it back on and when shaking started I touched the water and it shocked me! No idea what went wrong or why it functioned perfectly up until that. Now I need info to contact the company. Now no other replacement can be found and I'm going to have to shut the pool down before it turns green. Ugh. So disappointed

    I have had my pool for three years and this is the third pump I had to buy. Second pump did not make it a full season. Hopefully better luck with this one.

    Easy to install and works great!
    I had purchased two Sumer Waves Skimmer Plus P53FX1000 filters to replace the original which did not last a season and purchased a 2 year warranty - lucky I did as each one only lasted a few hours and quit - JUNK!!! My pool place suggested I go with this Intex filter (which comes with a 2 year warranty) and it has been working great since I installed it on June 25th. The only issue was it used 1.25" hoses and the pool uses 1.5" but an easy fix!
