Was as expected.
So far it is working great. This was a replacement for our old pump we had for 5 years. Only thing negative is a few days after I purchased it it reduce in price 10 more dollars.

Poor manufacturing and out of warranty
I bought this pump because it is 1500 GPH and a timer. I used it one summer in Michigan. and after 2 weeks into the 2nd summer, the switch is failing and the timer doesnt work at all.

    The pump runs good, but just not enough flow. The pumps that come with the pools dont have enough flow.

    Good Pump, Missing Piece
    The pump is great. I bought an 18' round above ground pool when the pandemic hit, and this is the 3rd pump I have tried (4th if you include the crap that came with the Intex pool). This one has the power needed to actually filter the pool and the cartridge is dependable and easy to maintain. The timer is a nice feature. Only downside: it is supposed to come with an inlet and outlet attachment to go through the pool walls. The box only contained the inlet attachment, and was missing the outlet. Fortunately, as previously noted, this is the 4th pump I have tried, so I happened to have a part that fit.

    Does not fit existing pool hoses.
    Existing fittings on the pool are smaller than the hoses provided with this pump. Adapters sold at Lowes do not fit. Local pool stores do not have the adapters. Please be aware of this possible issue.

    Overpriced but excellent pump
    works really good and I like the updated timer mechanism. Ridiculously priced though as last year was only 82$ and now 200 come on. I use this on a 10' by above ground Intex metal frame pool to replace the one that comes with the pool as those do not do a good job of keeping water clear and this one does it perfectly running 4 hrs each day is all.

    Using as an extra boost for our 14' by 42" pool
    Cleared my newly filled pool up in just two days. We have it hooked up through the skimmer pump that came with our pool. I do not like that you can't turn the way the water shoots. The slight movement it does make, it's not enough to actually circulate the pool water. It does what it's meant to do. We have hard well water and every couple of hours we are swapping filters to clean them out because they are quickly rust colored. Which tells me the pump is working good enough for me! Crystal clear blue water finally!!

    Perfect replacement pump for the Intex 15 x 48 ultra frame pool. The pump came with two hoses, a new return assembly and a filter. Water is now Krystal Clear.
