The good reviews are correct!
So far the pump.is great. Ive been using it for about 2 weeks and the water is clear as can be. The intex pump that came with the pool sucked.... So this upgrade from 1500 to 2500 is really nice. I read the reviews before I bought it and so far so good. I have the round intex 18 foot x 5 feet deep.

DON'T BUY THIS!
This is an absolute piece of garbage. I used it a couple of times now and it flat out doesn't work as a pump for your small Intex pool. There is VERY LITTLE POWER. By no means not enough to work in cleaning even a kiddie pool. No suction at all. They should be ashamed of themselves for the cost, defective craftsmanship, false hope, and all the time and aggravation you will waste on this falsity.

    I'm somewhat disappointed with my purchase. with In the Swim. My pool filter has no switch button as shown on photo or as described. Im happy with Walmart for delivering my purchase earlier than expected. Have it up and running, but as mentioned this doesn't have the switch in the back next to the timer. Having that switch in the back makes it easier for me to work with. Ive purchased the same ones before and have always had the button. Big disappointment.

    i had to purchase a new filter after i bought a summer waves pool this year. i contacted walmart spreetail and they regused to refund or send a new one. this one seems better made. i used the other approx 6 weeks, buy intel not summer waves!!!

    Disappointing
    This only worked for two weeks and stopped working. We are very diligent about the filter and change it out every week. For the price, I expected it to at least get us through the summer.

    Underpowered
    I purchased this water pump for my 530 gallon swimming pool. After installing, the water pump will not pump water. I made sure I aired out the hoses, checked the connections more than once, ensured that there was no air in the hoses and nothing. I even manually try to get water circulating by manipulating the water gravity on the positive end so that it will kick off the water pumping and still nothing. The electric motor was running; I could hear the motor running. After opening up the water pump to ensure there were no obstructions or to check filter was properly seated, I found no issues. One thing I found, is that the motor was so small, that I realized a 50 gallon aquarium pump had more power than this one. I was totally disappointed. I ordered another Intex pump rated for 15000 gallons from another popular online shopping website; this bigger pump did the job, but again, I do not think even this pump would be adequate for a 15000 gallon swimming pool. It was good enough for mine of just 530 gallons. Instead of returning the Intex Krystal Clear 530, I kept it because the larger pump came with larger size hoses, so I kept it for parts.

    Would not recommend buying. box came in damaged. when opened, parts was missing and everything in the boxed had been opened already. I put in for a return but I'm scared they might try to send out this out to someone else....also the plug is not American would rate this a zero if I could

    Quick and Easy
    Excellent and fast search on Walmart. I was able to use my gift card and credit card. It was not a hassle to pay and have to go in and out of sites. Check out was a breeze. That is always a plus, usually at the end the checkout hits you with hidden taxes, or delivery issues, or won't accept the gift card without searching for all these scratch off numbers. Very convenient.

    Works great!
    It has worked for a month now, and it really works. I use it with a 10' Intex above-ground pool. After using the pool, need to run it for like 12 hours a day for several days to clear the water. After that, an hour a day might be fine. Right now, the pipes are turning green and I'm guessing I might need some kind of algecide. Weird, even though the water in the pool is crystal clear. I'm new to this!
