Very pleased
Going from an antiquated 37" Vizio with poor sound quality to THIS 58" JVC Roku TV is a pleasant night vs. day difference! So far, I love everything about it. I was very impressed by how it sends powerful sound through my Yamaha surround sound system, whereas the Vizio underperformed in that regard. I did buy a Mount-It base separately to attach it to the rear of the tv, because the feet which came with this new TV would be spaced such so that they would overhang my tv stand.

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/14/202250/50I loved this TV, GREAT picture, GREAT sound but one day after 2 years, I turned it on and it worked perfectly. A few hours later it was a black spot in the corner of the TV and it wouldn't show. I was very, very disappointed. Now I'm debating if I should buy another one or find another brand?Sheena

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/03/2021A buildFirst off, I can't believe how many people are leaving reviews regarding the shipping and handling and not the TV itself. If we're confusing the product and the carrier, why not also go to Fedex and leave reviews of the TV? My gripe is about the build quality and the packaging method as my box came in perfect condition and was delivered carefully right to my door, but out of box the frame of the TV was clearly bent, meaning the packaging is probably not robust enough for the dimensions and build quality of the TV. I know this is a $300 TV, but it should still be able to survive transport, especially when the outer packaging showed zero damage. My issue with the frame was immediately noticeable. On the bottom of the frame, center-right location, just to the side of the JVC logo, the frame wasn't snapped in all the way. There was a major dip, and upon powering, you could see a bright gap of light escaping, like light coming in under a door into a dark room. I had it shipped because my car couldn't fit the box, and therefore I couldn't return it. My only chance was to try to snap the frame back into place, which happened with a relatively light press. However, the frame didn't become completely square. It still shows a dip, especially noticeable when the sun comes through the window and reflects and you see the bent portion of the frame. Additionally, the screen is pushed a bit back at this location. Again, since I can't return it without bugging a friend with a truck for a day, and then roll the dice with a replacement, I'm just going to live with it. The picture is still fine for a 2nd TV. It's just a bummer since it seems to have shipped properly. With other complaints about out-of-box failures, I think JVC needs to consider their build quality and/or their packaging methods, and is most certainly not making me want to be a repeat customer anytime soon. Picture of a straight card (verified with a straight edge which was too awkward to use for photos) aligned on one side of the frame's dip shown so you can see the gap on the opposite side of the card. Also pic of the screen pushed back a bit at this location shown (look at shadow between frame and the blue in 2nd pic). Other than this major bummer in build quality, I think the TV, picture quality, and ROKU interface is a great value for the money.Alan

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/03/2020Incredible, I am rating a very rare 5 stars!!!!Incredible A/V quality. Great price $298 and a rebate of 5% for using my Discover CC. Four days from online order to delivery with FedEx. One hour to unbox, hang, and program (super easy). This replaces a 15-year-old JVC 57" that cost over $2,600!!!! In 2006 dollars no less. As happy as a clam.Unknown
