I love this product, I hope that I can get this product again it works very well and it's very affordable, that's important to me!! No I wouldn't change a thing about it!!

Used to be good- but the formula changed!
I have been using the John Frieda Clearly Defined Styling Gel for about 15 years, BUT the current product feels like it has been reformulated and is missing an ingredient. I used to be able to use 'too much' gel, where my curls would get slightly crunchy. Now, I keep putting it in, and I swear a bottle only is good for 3-4 styles in my shoulder length hair! It's very frustrating. It does not define the curls as well and it leaves a frizzier style. I have loved this gel- it has been my go-to for a very long time! please change the formulation back to what it was originally!!! The current one is not working!

    The ONLY thing that works with my hair!
    I've tried it all in my 55 years of life. Hands down this is the only product that consistently works with my hair - this pic taken day two after I slept on it. For 8 hours. My only problem is it's getting harder and harder to find locally in stores. I like the convenience of being able to just pick it up when I need it vs. order online and pay for shipping.

    Smoothing, Light Hold Hair Gel
    Glad to find this product again. Helps smooth and "set" my hair. I just put a small amount on one palm, rub my hands together, then swish my fingers through my damp hair and finger-style. Is not for "spiking" unless your hair is a lot stiffer than mine and you don't comb, or brush at all later.

    Great for curly hair!
    This gel is perfect for my super curly hair. None of the Walmart retail stores carry the gel, unfortunately, despite carrying the rest of the product line. I'm thankful I could order several from Walmart.com and even have it delivered to our Walmart neighborhood market.

    Good Gel
    This is the only gel that works for my naturally curly hair. Walmart used to sell it the stores...not sure why they stopped selling it in the stores. I can say that is was delivered to my house in two days, so I am very pleaseed with the product and quick delivery.

    Easier to get online, great price
    I have used this product for a long time. Note: Though it says "For curly styles" on the tube, I don't have curly hair; I use it to control frizz and give my fine, thin hair some body and shape. It works quite well for these purposes. I used to use another John Frieda styling gel that was not "for curly styles", just for body and controlling frizz, but the manufacturer discontinued it and replaced it with this one. Walmart charges less than anybody for this product, and charges the exact same price for a lot of other John Frieda hair products. A Walmart physical store that I really like carries this product, but it's 14 miles away and the store 3 miles from me won't carry it. So I'm glad there's no problem finding it online!

    Love this stuff!!
    I have been using this for years and now I can't find it in any of the stores! The fact that I can order it from Walmart is great! I would be lost without it. I have a spiral perm and this eliminates any frizzy ends and give me a crisp, stay in curl. It is really amazing! I have tried all the anti-frizz products out there and this is by far, THE BEST!! It lasts a long time and one tube goes a long way!!! My husband loves it as it keeps his hair neat and in place all day even when he wear a hard hat!!
