This product in my opinion is by far the best. I have been using K&N oil filters (along with synthetic oil) in my 2000 Nissan Frontier since about 20,000 miles. I am currently at 154,000 miles and have never experienced any oil related issues, ever. The welded on nut is so nice especially with Nissan's location of the filter not being the most easily accessible. PS: I also use K&N filters for my motorcycle. Keep up the good work. K&N for LIFE!!!!

Don't waste your money or time.
The item worked, but I could not get it tight enough with the bolt. So I had to almost crush the filter with a wrench. Then eventually, I just went back to the fram line.

    Its an oil filter
    I've had K&N air filters, cold air intakes so I am hoping these oil filters are just as good. I have used the oil filters a few times. The only thing that is a pain is the nut on the end. No size wrench fits, metric or standard they just barely slide on enough to either take the filter off or strip out the nut and bust you knuckles. Its a good feature in tight spots if can actually get a wrench on it.

    Best OiFilterEver!!!
    As an ex-U.S. Air Force mechanic I can definitely say that's the best oil filter to date for the money. Proven to stand to rigorous tests in high performance engines at high RPMs in real world. Combination of Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5W30 Full Synthetic Motor Oil with PurePlus Technology and BG MOA Advance Formula oil supplement with that filter on Shells V-Power Nitro+ Premium Gas and STA-BIL 360 Ethanol Engine Protection with AEM Dry FLOW air filter or aFe Power air filter definitely makes the difference in engine performance from the idle to high RPMs. Mileage also jumps 4-5 mpg in the city to mid 20's to high 30's between 40 and 55 mph in Nissan Frontier 4.0 L V6 5 Speed Automatic. Plenty of torque at 2,100 RPM and pulls like a beast at 2,500 RPM and 2,900 RPM whether going up the steep hill or merging into the highway. That's on 39 PSI Nitrogen filled Bridgestone Blizzacks DM-V2 265/70R17 Don't take my word for it. Try it for yourself in disbelief to see dramatic difference.
