Recommend
My groomer recommended the K9Advantix because I was having no luck with the oral flea treatment. I live i a very dark wooded area and it has been extremely wet this spring. Fleas are thriving. But my dogs so love to run in the yard and especially while I am in the garden. In less than two weeks my two small dogs and the house are flea free. VERY PLEASED.

Does not work for ticks very well at all
This does not work. My dog still had ticks bite, stay latched on, stay alive after using this product. My vet suggested I try Nexguard instead since this obviously was not working. We followed the instructions exactly and bought the correct size.

Advantix application- ease depends on breed
We bought Advantix liquid application anti-flea and tick treatment because it is effective, was less expensive and did not require a prescription. We had easily and successfully used liquid Advantix for years with our Plott hound mix. We now have a beagle. Beagle hair is different; it's thick, coarse, oily, kind of water proof and difficult to part in order to properly apply the liquid to the skin. Advantix is a very good product, but pet owners may want to assess their pet's coat to determine how the liquid application could be applied.

    Don't buy from this seller
If I could rate lower than 1 I would. First my shipment was delayed and then after 2 and 1/2 weeks it shows up. The package was tore up and ruined. The flea medicine also in clear bold letters said 'not for retail sale'. This is not OK. If that wasn't enough the actual applicator was damaged and some of the medicine was leaking out. Zero is the rating for the seller. Advantix is generally a decent product.

Not working on my dog ! I used this on 9th July but I saw some bugs on his body last night and , I never seen bugs on his body before and used this because I saw some ants in my home and wanted to make sure not hurt him but last night I saw some bugs and really sad and unhappy! His doctor told me It was a good shopping and good product if you use in correct spots and on time and not take him to shower 2 days before and after this and I followed all his recommendations but… !

    worked fast
I gave this a try because the veterinary was to expensive $65 a pill plus for each of my 3 dogs, that's out of the question. This however worked fast within and hour I could see the fleas seemed sick and by the afternoon there were no fleas on any of my dogs I recommend this product.

    Better product than most
Works great, we use this on our large Doberman and purchased this originally when the flea collar did not work. Within hours the fleas were dead and if any did get on him they died pretty quick. I did find a tick on him which showed the medication worked because the tick kept coming back out of the fur and couldn't attach so I saw it before letting him in the house. We did try Frontline at one point because of cost but quickly went back to this. I haven't had any issue with fleas in 2 years which is why I purchased this for our Doberman puppy. I would recommend though when the dog reaches its full weight to purchase the multipack, even though you don't save any money it is more convenient to have on hand when the month is up. I give it to him on the same date every month but have in the past gone 2 weeks past the due date because I forgot, he started itching but did not have any fleas upon being given a flea bath.

The Good and The Ugly Bad!
There is nothing wrong with these products. I've used them before and this was just a fill-in of sorts. What has overshadowed what should have been a great first time buy for me was the way it was "delivered". Is just throwing the package onto my driveway what I can expect from Walmart? If so, I will never order from you again.

Love the product, don't love the price. I'd love to see Walmart add a rival product to their Great Value line. But for now, this is your best bet for fleas and tick protection.
