Works!
I use this spray on my teenagers white Nike tennis shoes. I know right? That is an unwise parenting choice. This sprays right on your clean and dry shoes. This puts a protective coating protecting your shoes from teenager lifestyle! I recommend this product! Could be a little cheaper but im not complaining.

Doesn't do what it says it does
Before this product, I'd never heard of a sneaker protector. I work indoors, but I do a lot of walking for exercise outside each week, so I tested these on my walking shoes. I've been testing this for nearly 3 weeks now, and to be honest, I'm not impressed. The application is pretty easy. The product comes out of the can at a good pace, and I feel like it's easy to get a good coating on the shoe. I actually coated the shoe 3 times, very thoroughly (I estimate I used at least half the can on one pair of shoes), with about an 3 hours dry time in between (they recommended at least one hour). I had good results, the rubber parts of the shoe looked shiny, and you couldn't tell it was even on the fabric, I liked that it didn't change the look of my shoe! The smell was pretty strong even with me applying outside, but it dissipated after a few hours. It rained about 5 times in the 3 weeks that I tested this, I honestly couldn't tell much difference. Some of the water beaded off like it was supposed to, but more than half of it soaked into the shoe. In my picture I uploaded, I tried pouring about 1/4th cup of water over them to show you what I'm talking about. It seemed like it worked slightly better on the suede part of the shoe, but it still soaked in, and got wet. I followed the directions, and even applied it a third time for good measure, and this product still failed to protect my shoe. I love Kiwi products, and have been using their other products for years, but this one really missed the mark for me. I would not buy this, or recommend this.

After cleaning my shoes thoroughly, I sprayed one layer on each shoe, then allowed to dry. Then I sprayed another layer and allowed to dry once more. This stuff is amazing and my shoes look and feel brand new. You can't tell there is a coating on them either. Dirt, sand, water all slide right off. Excellent product. Just be sure to spray the coating outside and away from animals, plants etc.Mbass93

Then i bought some new uggs, was planning on just going out and getting suede protector, but the directions on this can convinced me they would be fine. Did two applications, waited a couple of days, then got caught in the rain in the uggs, Only had to walk about 20 feet, but Uggs are pretty much ruined from water damage. DO NOT use this on suede, only leather/vinyl sneakers.Mike the bartender

With that being said the first step was to clean the sneaker and spray step 2. So I sprayed my 3 year old sons shoes and it actually looks great after he jumped in the mud and played in the dirt!Kat24

I live in Arizona and where I live there is a lot of dust and dirt, my shoes usually had to wash them often as they got dirty with dust and dirt! but with this incredible protector, my shoes look clean and bright all the time! it should only be applied in an open place, because it smells a bit strong but the smell is removed very quickly! It is very easy to apply and protects and works very well !! super recommended !! I will test it on dirt, water and dust and it works!tanyela87

For such a small can of 4.25 Oz, it does a great job covering a lot of shoes. Living in the Midwest you definitely need to protect your shoes against water snow dirt dust and salt. Not good for use of reptile, metallic leather, or vinyl materials. It's super easy to use just hold 7 to 10 in a way and spray the entire surface to get maximum protection.Nekramer28

However, I try to use it a day or a few hours before the need for the shoes. Plus, using this outside to spray is best. The results on the other hand are really worth it! I love the protection from water, which it has been raining a lot lately and leaving puddles that are hard to avoid. I think this is quite a nice product, the best brand I trust and would rely on protecting my footwear often.Excellent product!
