Extremely disappointed.
I tried the KIWI water-proofer on my suede boots about a year ago and found it to be useless, but I bought a new pair and thought I would take my time and do it differently this time. I sprayed them right out of the box and let them dry for several hours and then sprayed them again. I followed this procedure two more times. Today, I walked up the hill to my daughter's house through very short grass, and the water on the grass penetrated my boots just from the splash without any resistance. That was a big disappointment.

    Did what it was designed to do.
    Did exactly as described. I sprayed two pair of suede boots. The can sprayed both twice. Note: I used it for both and will have to purchase another can when needed.

    I just rec'd this two days ago and sprayed my old and new boots with it. No problems with a color change to the boots, but I haven't had it long enough to speak to how effectively this spray keeps the water outta the boot.

    Changes color and is spotty.
    I put this on a test area of my expensive boots and I'm glad I did. The boots are light colored, and you can see where I sprayed it. It darkened the area enough to make a visible and spotty area. Maybe it would be ok on dark items, but definitely not on tan suede.

    The directions say you should re-apply this every 15 days. If it only lasts that long, it is not the shoe treatment I was looking for.

    Waiting for Rain in California
    The application went on really smooth. I was able to coat my boots twice as in the instructions. I had enough over to do a pair of slippers. It dried quicker than the hour as instructed. It left no spots or stains on the suede. Now I just need some rain to see if it really protects. But not holding my breath since I live in California.

    First time using a product like this
    I have never thought about using any kind of leather protecter before this Kiwi Suede and Nubuck Waterproofer. I tested a small patch on my suede boots before using to make sure it didn't stain or mess with the fabric. I can't even tell that I put anything on them by the look of it. It didn't effect the fabric at all. I don't think it made them completely waterproof if you were to submerge them for a long time, but it did great to help them for normal wear during a rainstorm. I do think it will help them stay looking new for longer because they won't get so much water damage. Definitely something worth looking into.

    KIWI® Suede & Nubuck Protector works great!!! I used these on my pair of Suede shoes. First i cleaned my shoes and dried them and then sprayed KIWI Suede & Nubuck protector on the shoes lightly & evenly and allowed them to dry overnight. This does not leave marks or stains and shoe looked nicer. Worth paying the price for this product, I would recommend others to buy KIWI Suede & Nubuck protector whoever has Suede shoes.
