Would not recommend
Cereal itself was bland, strawberries were sour and the chocolate was waxy. Also, all the chocolate sank to the bottom so the last 2 spoonfuls was just chocolate pieces. Which would be okay except the chocolate was pretty gross. I suppose this would be good if you like the plain version of this cereal and wanted to try something a little different. To me, it's another product where the gimmick of "treats" is to help you power through the less desirable parts of the food (think candy pieces in not so good yogurt). I prefer to eat food that I thoroughly enjoy, and yes, this does include many healthy foods. I would definitely not recommend this to anyone that doesn't already love the plain version. I myself will not be buying again and will regretfully be having to throw away an entire family sized box (since the store didn't carry smaller sizes).

    This is a real winner!
    This is the best of all worlds! The good strong healthy cereal you want and need, both good for you and filling, mixed with bits of tangy strawberry and touches of bits of chocolate, what a great way to start the day, or if you are like me, eat any time of day!

    My favorite limited edition of Special K with chocolate bits and strawberries. When I see it at the stores I will definitely buy 3 or 4 boxes at a time.

    Strawberries, Chocolate and Flakes, oh my!
    Although Lucky Charms has always been my very favorite cereal for about 50 years, this Chocolatey Strawberry Special K is some seriously good stuff. The chocolate pieces are 'heavier' than the flakes and strawberries so they kind of sink to the bottom of the bowl. This lets you end on a chocolatey note. I mean, come on people, chocolate and strawberries in the same cereal. This is a no-brainer, so Kellogg's, please continue to make this.

    Special K with Strawberries
    New limited item that combines the Special K with Strawberries and Chocolate. Chips themselves are more textured like strawberries only kind as compared to larger chip size with chocolate only. I really like this new combination and hope it becomes a permanent option.

    Needs better quality control
    My wife and I both love Special K Red Berries so when I saw they added chocolate I had to give it a try. We both loved it. Unfortunately, the second box held almost no berries. Same with the third, forth, and fifth boxes. We obviously really enjoy the cereal but we have to add our own fresh strawberries.
