Just perfect! That's a Big Box of Cereal!
Just perfect! I tend to be very frugal and buy off-brand/cheapest for most things but this cereal is one of the few things where I'll always buy the brand name. Consistent quality and ALWAYS excellent flavor. I like mixing my Kellogg's Special K Original Breakfast Cereal with white choco granola cereal.

Expensive Box of Rocks
I agree with all the 1 star reviews. Not only is it hard to chew, the flavor is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. You responded to one review "there's a temporary shortage due supply constraints." That review is 8 months old. Whenever things get better for your company and the original cereal is back on the shelves, I hope you don't reduce the quantity for the same price. The price is already to expensive. If you do this I will stop buying it all together. This cereal doesn't even deserve 1 star.

    Nana's Favorite cereal
    My grandmother introduced me to Special K cereal when I was 5 yrs old in the early 70's. It's one of my favorites since she would put slices of bananas in it with the right amount of milk.

    Hard bits to break teeth
    The flavor is good. I've tried this cereal a couple of times in the past year because it is one of the healthier ones on the shelf. BUT, there are bits of rock hard pieces in it. I thought it was just that particular run of cereal at first, but over time and after a few boxes, they are all alike. It's like eating cereal with grit in it. I will not buy another box for fear of cracking a tooth. How is this still on the market without a bunch of lawsuits for cracked/broken teeth?

    I have been eating Special K for over 25 years an it is the only cereal that I like. Now all of a sudden, I get back on my cereal kick and I couldn't be more disappointed. You have lost a loyal member

    Hard bits
    I just purchased a box of Special K for the first time in several years and Googled, "Hard bits in my Special K." I agree with the reviews I have just read. The cereal is full of hard pieces; it's like trying to chew small rocks. This is not the cereal I remember. Such a hassle returning 1 box of cereal but it is, in my opinion, inedible.

    I haven't purchased Special K in 2 decades. So when I opened the box I can't tell you how shocked I was at the mess poured into my bowl. What happened to quality? The uniformed pieces used to be uniquely identical, crisp, enjoyable in every bite. Today, they appear flat, crushed, different sizes, unclear what shape they are aiming for and they do not taste the same as they did before. Some dried out, hard, overcooked chewy pieces? What a disappointment. What you see on the box is NOT what you get in your bowl.

    I have been eating special k since 1980, but in the last few years the texture has changed and it's not so good. While I'm eating it there are like little hard beads that I cannot chew, I'm not sure what they are but it has deterred me from enjoying special K as I use to. I've often wondered why they changed the flakes.
