worst quality control, the rod came broken in a box, and no gift recipet was in box. get you stuff together walmart your days are number, last time shopping at walmart

    Doesn't work to cast from shore
    This rod doesn't cast worth a darn. I'm planing to return and just buy my kids an ice fishing pole to use. Only way I could see it working is if you are fishing from a boat and can just pull the line out and throw it into the water

    Nice pole for a 4 year old beginner.
    The pole was nice and light and it took all of about 30 seconds to get the timing for casting. The line is thin and prone to break under very light tension. We may try and just replace that before we throw a bobber and hook on there.

    Broken handle
    Did even last half a season, the handle broke off at the bolt. Size of the rod was perfect for my 4 year old but didn't last. Looking for a Zebco 33 Dock Spincaster now.

    I purchased this kids fishing pole and I received it in a big plastic bag with the tip BROKEN OFF. It was for an upcoming birthday party and Im hesitant to reorder because if they send it in a bag and not a box that the same thing will happen. Disappointed!

    Hours of entertainment for me, and my grandson!
    This thing is a blast. My mom got two of them, one for my great nephew and one for my grandson. She passed before christmas, so i wrapped her gift and delivered it to my grandson for her. I swear i had more fun with that and played with it more than he did!!! I loved it so much, i got one for myself as well! That way, when my grandson comes, we can play with it together! Love this for myself, and love it for the grandson as well.
