Weak motor, didn't last more than a month.
Weak motor, stopped working after third use with fully cooked pinto beans. The motor doesn't turn the blade anymore. Also the blade connection comes off all the time since it's a “twist on” instead of a click on. Bad design.

    Perfect for blending-Great results!
    I received this as a Mother's Day gift and I love it! It's so easy to use-the bottom safety features are great as they cover the blades so no worries of getting cut! It blends perfectly and has smooth results each time! Definitely a necessity I didn't realize I needed in the kitchen!

    Would give it zero stars if possible. Do not buy
    I bought this device so I can make milkshakes and smoothies at work. I've only used about five times and on the fifth time it broke. It no longer wants to turn on

    I got my Kitchen Aid hand blender about 3-4 weeks ago and it's been in my hand every chance I get. I love smoothies but different flavors so I do a lot of experimenting. The best so far is Mandarin oranges, orange cream ice cream bars,vanillas ice cream, Greek yogurt and (Drum roll) New York Style Cheesecake Smoothie… yes real cheesecake… YUMMY AND DELICIOUS Thank you Kitchen Aid

    Falls apart while using.
    Pros: Long cord Higher quality metal pieces Cons: Attachment comes apart in use. No locking device yo keep them together when blending. Could not even get one cup of soup blended without it coming apart 5x and me giving up. No pan hairs in box Not super easy to hold on while using

    Returned item, would not recommend. Very heavy, missing pan guard, bottom of wand sharp and likely to cause damage without pan guard. Pan guard is pictured on box and manual but according to kitchenaid is discontinued. Returned item unused.

    This is the best hand blender I've owned and I've had a few. Quieter and more powerful. I use it all the time for making frozen fruit smoothies and soup. Super easy to clean. Love it.

    Powerful
    I purchased this immersion blender two weeks ago and I absolutely love it! Being a small business owner, I need quality at a good price. This immersion blender is so powerful and longer than others, it can fit in the deepest pots. I am extremely happy and hope to buy more KitchenAid products.
