Great quality bowl!
Good, strong glass. It fit without the need for extra parts. I purchased this as a gift, but I like it so much, I will be ordering one for myself.

Defective Mixer Bowl.
Used this mixer one time, and it cracked when we washed it afterward. It's two visible cracks, each one is about 6-8 inches long, on 2 sides of the bowl, but you can't feel it on the inside or outstide of the bowl. I don't want to continue using it, for safety reasons. I plan to return it for an exchange or a refund.

    Great Buy
    This bowl is bigger than the metal bowl that came with my mixer, but it fits perfectly in it. I love that I can see if ingredients are mixed at the bottom of the bowl without having to stop and stir the contents. The lid is handy if there are left overs and also to keep attachments stored in the bowl from getting dusty

    Do Not Use as a Double Boiler
    Do not use this as a Double Boiler!! Mine cracked, after 4 months, while using it to melt chocolate in a double boiler. Such a bummer! Was otherwise a nice mixer bowl.

    I’ve been wanting to purchase this large size glass mixing bowl with spout but didn’t want to spend the money for a kitchenaid product. Surprised to find it at Walmart and loved the price of this Kitchenaid glass mixing bowl. Fits perfectly in my kitchenaid stand mixer. Saw a knock-off version of this same item on Amazon that was priced much higher. Very happy with this purchase.

    I love the sturdiness of the bowl, it's heavy but it's well made. You can easily see if you got everything mixed well on the bottom and don't have to find surprises when scooping out the batter.
