I bet I haven't used this thing five times I paid $12 for it I used it today to try to open a can of chili and the handle broke off of it and they only give you a 90-day warranty you don't use a can opener everyday the piece of junk from China don't buy it

    Excellent Can Opener in Snazzy Red
    Cook all our meals. Have never purchased Kitchenaid products because I have small hands, that brand seems to be geared towards guys. And it's expensive for my frugal tastes. Of course it appeared well made. When the most recent very good can opener died, I broke down and bought a KitchenAid, splurging even more on red. It's excellent. Clamps down good, even on store-brand cans, which can be difficult, For years I have rinsed can openers after each use and dried them. I occasionally scrub the cutting edge w/ a bit of detergent and water on a nail brush. This works great for the Kitchenaid, too. It was worth the spluge.

    Reliable opener, decent price
    Exactly as I expected. Not great, not bad but average can opener. I prefer a brand Walmart doesn't carry that has non slip handles. These are slippery if your hands are wet.

    Good quality
    Have only used twice and it opens very smoothly. I have always trusted this brand and don't mind paying a little extra so I don't have to keep buying. Hope it doesn't disappoint in the long run.

    Not a bad can opener
    Good can opener to have and has some power behind it. The handles are a little bit larger than what I normally use, but good can opener. You can feel when it grips onto can and when the can has been opened all the way. Bottle opener is easy to use too. I was gifted this item to give an honest review.

    Heavy duty, quality, nice to hold can opener.
    Wow - right away I could "feel" the quality of the KitchenAid can opener. I like how heavy it feels in my arm, since when I open cans, I want to know there is some torque and force to being able to open some of the more difficult cans. I also like that there is a bottle opener, as I'm always searching for a bottle opener, this is just a nice convenient add-on. The large handle gives great turning torque. To clean, sadly it's not dishwasher safe, it is hand wash only, but a quick rinse and soap, it stayed clean and rust free, which I very much appreciate. This is a solid product and I am enjoying using it. To note, I was gifted this product so I could give my honest review, thus please see attached pictures below for the solid quality as described.

    I bought a Kitchen aid can opener for $15, 2 or 3 months ago and I used it around 5 times. Cheap quality.
