Beautiful sink at a great price!
I love my new sink! It has so much space and it's so easy to wash large dishes, pots and pans. I really like the grid in the bottom to help reduce scratches and love how deep it is. So happy with my purchase.

Average sink in the end...
We have a total household of 5 and this sink was great the first week, but then we started noticing some deep dings on the sink. Most of them being on the center divider. These dings were deep enough to feel, not those light scratches which we knew was normal. We use the sink to wash and I suspected they were either from knives or utensils. It wasn't even from a deliberate gouge, so kind of disappointed. We thought were being careful with the sink, but at this rate, I expect there to be more dings in the future. You'd pretty much have to baby this sink if you don't want deep scratches. I'm thinking the steel might be softer at the edges and the divider, but the divider is at the full height of the sink so that makes it tricky.. Now just hoping bacteria won't grow in those dings. For the price we paid though, I expected a more solid product that can take some light abuse without damage. For me, I regret buying this stainless steel sink.

We did add the bottom grids which help eliminate minor abrasions from pots, pans, and metal utensils etc. The do wipe the sides of the sink with a paper towel to eliminate water spots. Sometimes we catch several crabs and need to cook them in a huge canning pot. It doesn't fit in the dishwasher, and it didn't fit in our previous sink. It fits easily into our new, deep Kraus sink. We enjoy the crabs more knowing it will be easy to clean the pot! Add to that the durability of the heavy-gauge stainless steel and the beautiful look of this sink, and we feel like our kitchen is heaven.Raingirl

The pictures and description on the Kraus web site of this handcrafted stainless steel sink do not make it justice. The quality and design of this sink are impressive. I have done a great deal of comparison on sinks I am so happy I went with this one. Although it is not installed yet the directions for an average diy'er are not too hard but I am still going to get advice from an expert before doing anything. I would definitely recommend this product to everyone. And there will be more pictures with the installation progress and the final outcome.Dave397
