Gorgeous detail and color
Waited a month before buying this monitor, and I'm definitely satisfied with it. I've been using it for gaming, photo and video editing, 3D modelling, movies and general tasks. Great color accuracy, no IPS glow, and the 4K resolution is amazing in every scenario, from reading to gaming. Customization is good, but the factory calibration is perfect and there is no need for any change except brightness. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Easy Set Up & Excellent Pilcture
Purchased this item to serve as mirror and extension for my new laptop. Set up was very easy and the picture is very bright and clear. Makes photo processing that much easier and less straining on the eyes.

    great color and resolution
I've had this motor for about a month and am using it to edit photos and videos. The color match nd accuracy is close to ideal. Given the p rice of the monitor, I would say its perfect.

    Solid Performer
The screen clarity and performance is as expected. Sharp picture with good color accuracy. Used for video processing and also as a general second monitor. My only issue is that you cannot have a Mac and PC feed at the same time in split screen.

    Great monitors for the price
I purchased two monitors a month ago. So far, no technical problem. However, it appears that a 24-inch monitor is not a good fit for a resolution of 3840x2160. I used dual monitors on every workstation and if I had the choice, I would have gone for at least 27-inch. I changed the resolution to 1920x1080 and changed text size to 125%. For a 67-year-old accountant it looks great.

Fine for viewing but egonomically challenging
No comments about the image, all as I expected. But the stand is: - flimsy - doesn't keep monitor level horizontally - too low - not adjustable Looking for some books to put under it. That will look lovely. Secondly, there are no controls that I can find. Maybe not Mac friendly ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Plug & Play for my MacBook Pro
The LG 24 CLASS 4K UHD IPS LED MONITOR is installed as a desktop monitor for my Mac Pro Laptop. It was a very easy setup right out of the box. The color accuracy and resolution are very good. I also use it with a PC laptop for work. Both use an HDMI input and switching between them is relatively easy to do.

    Great 4K monitor
Excellent monitor for the price. 4K is perfect, no damaged pixels, and gives me great resolution as a second monitor. On screen display is easy to navigate and frame is thin which looks nice and minimal.

Great value in a high-end, compact display
The LG 24UD58-B represents an exceptional value in high-end displays. I've been using a dual-display setup for a couple years now, with a 2.15" 4K iMac as the primary display and, until recently, an inexpensive 1080p monitor as the secondary display. The difference in clarity, brightness and color gamut was noticeable and when it died suddenly, just after the warranty ran out, I decided it was time to upgrade to a much better secondary display. I quickly discovered, however, that UHD and 4K displays start at over $500, and that most are 27" or 32" or larger, without any increase in resolution. Not only would a 27" display have dwarfed my primary display, but it would have overwhelmed the remaining space on my computer desk. The whole idea behind a so-called retina display is to use the higher dot-pitch to improve graphics - not to make text larger. The LG display has three inputs - two HDMI inputs and a DisplayPort input. I learned the hard way that using either HDMI input with the iMac limits the frame rate to 30 fps and, worse still, restricts the display to 1080p. In order to take full advantage of UHD resolution, it's necessary to use the DisplayPort input, either via a Thunderbolt dock or via a USB-C to DisplayPort adapter. When connected via the DisplayPort interface, the iMac instantly recognizes the display as a retina display and affords it the same virtual graphics resolution as it does its native display. In other words, it maintains full resolution graphics while adjusting text size to the user's taste. I find that, as with the primary display, I tend to set the resolution higher than the default setting, as the text is much crisper than on a conventional display and I prefer a larger desktop. I've been using my LG monitor for a few weeks now and continue to be impressed by how well it matches the Apple display next to it. It's not quite as bright, even at maximum setting, but it's sharp and clear, even with its dull matte finish. I now use the two displays equally, which is a big improvement over the old secondary display. The controls are very intuitive and accessed via a single joystick on the underside of the display. This works much better than more traditional arrangements of buttons. The app provided via download adds some additional features that are useful. I find the split-screen option much more versatile and useful than Apple's own, but it doesn't play well with changing apps. I use it to arrange my screen, and then I turn it off. For Mac users, LG needs to improve split screen to make it aware of multiple screens and to better adapt to different groups of apps. All in all, I find the LG 24UD58-B to be a pleasure to use and a significant addition to my setup. That it only cost about $250 makes it an affordable option for those needing a high-performance graphic display.
