Great OLED TV, at a great price
Now that they lowered the price to below that of the C1, I decided this was the better set for us. The performance specifications are basically the same being the difference in the Web OS. The C1 has a newer version, which is slightly better but since I am using a Roku Ultra box it really is not a feature I care about. The 55GXPUA has a thin uniform back made of all metal compared the the C1 that packs the electronics on the lower bottom with a plastic back, which for a wall mount is simply not as clean. Since this TV was being mounted on a rock chimney a uniform back was more critical. While this set does come with a wall mount (and a stand is an optional addition), it's objective is to make a very close mount to the wall with no tilt. So for this application a pull out mount with tilt adjustment is far better and easier to install. To the right of the Chimney is an open atrium with a 20X20 window wall that lets in late afternoon sun. This OLED is the first TV we have had in this location that gives a great picture regardless of the amount of light (the picture was taken in late afternoon, with the sun streaming in). This set is simply perfect for this location and when you put up the art screen saver, it does look like a framed picture. Very happy with this set.

Sound quality
The sound quality is not acceptable for the price of the TV. Really unhappy Bought 2 of them Bedroom and family room They make a matching sound bar but for the 65 inch Have 3 LG OLEDS in the house. Looks great on the wall and the picture is exceptional. My previous LG G6 was phenomenal.

    Awesome experience
    Ten months in, and my experience with this TV has been great, top to bottom: amazing bright picture every time, terrific sound (with no extra soundbar needed), works like a charm! It's our second LG OLED TV, and both have been flawless.

    Amazing Picture Quality & Thin
    Mounted the TV on our existing wall unit and it looks absolutely incredible. The picture quality is second to none and I love that this TV is set up to be a gamers dream. My son and I love using our Xbox with this TV. Games look great and color just pops! It's ready for 120hz as well so look forward to testing that out. Overall Super happy with our purchase.

    Love our new TV!
    We purchased our TV from Best Buy and got a great deal bundled with the LG ThinQ Sound Bar. Set up was super easy and the picture quality and sound is awesome. The Magic remote takes some getting used to and has a lot of potential; however, we decided to get a Logitech Harmony Remote since we have so many devices to integrate. I love the “picture frame” feature but not into the renaissance art that it defaults to. Also, the TV is super thin but deceptively VERY heavy. You'll need 2 people to install it on the wall. The mount it came with is easy to use. My only complaint is I couldn't get Google Assistant to work on the TV. All in all, this is a great TV for a great price. We've officially converted from Samsung to LG!

    This tv is the best oled ever. looks great on wall, daytime sunlit room very low reflectivity. don't have nextGen stations yet but atsc 3.0 is there for the future. 120hz screen also a plus. wife loves gallery mode. will be adding another

    An out of this world TV
    Upon first turning this TV on, completing the setup process, and thereafter turning on a film in Dolby Vision, I was mesmerized by the extraordinary picture quality that was presented to me. Having never owned an OLED TV in the past, I was unsure just how amazing an OLED TV will be, and let me just say that what I experienced, and what I was expecting was totally blown out of the water by the amazing stunning quality picture that this TV produces. I have the tv while not in use in Gallery mode, and the pictures that are displayed are so breathtaking, they appear as though the display is an actual canvas, very vibrant and life like. Among other things is the intuitive interface powered by WebOS, combined with LG's magic remote make it a winning combination. I really love that the remote features a moving cursor which makes navigating the interface a breeze. The LG gallery design is quite remarkable in that the TV is flush to the wall completely, without having any cables being in the way through LG's innovative design that hides all the cables in a uniform matter with recessed input panels.     One of the Best OLED TVs on the Market
    This is the first OLED TV that we've owned and we are so glad that we got the LG OLED. The picture quality is exceptionally stunning, deep black, beautiful rich colors. The LG OLED65GXPUA 4K TV has lots functions to offer Picture Mode - You can pick and choose many different picture mode (Standard, Cinema, Sports, Game, Vivid, Auto Power Save, Filmmaker etc.). It also allows you to customize and tweet the colors to your own personal preference. The internal speaker on this TV - I notice that the audio sound that came out from this TV is crisp and clear, it also has many different types of sound mode (Standard, Cinema, AI Sound Pro, Clear Voice, Sports, Game and Music), Useful Functions - It has a screen saver built-in, so when you hit pause, the screen saver will start after few seconds or you can select the "Screen Off" function from the side manual and when you need to turn the screen back on, you just simply wave the magic remote and the screen will turn back on. It will save the TV from any burn-in shadowing. I also love how the magic remote works, you can just point the remote to the TV and select the function you want, much faster than clicking the up, down, left and right button on the remote control. We installed the LG GX65 OLED TV Gallery Design in our living room on a standalone wall that separates our living room and kitchen. The TV sits flush against the wall which makes it look just like a piece of artwork. It hangs on the wall exactly like a painting and there are no wires protruding from the TV which is SO nice! The lack of wires and cables showing makes your home space look clean, streamlined, and uncluttered. Really pleasing to the eye. I can turn on the "Art Gallery" function which is a bit like a screen saver which is included in the TV. It provides a selection of old master paintings in frames and the picture looks 3D, it's amazing! The TV measures at 56.9" W x 32.7" H x 0.8" D and about 65 inches diagonal.     Wall Mounted and Beautiful!!! Oh happy day.
    The picture quality is amazing. I was able to put the TV in "gallery mode" and display beautiful pictures of fine art that appeared to be actually hanging on the wall. Although this TV needs to be professionally mounted since there is no other way to display it, it is less than an inch from the wall and looks gorgeous. The inputs are on the back of TV and there are no visible wires so there is a clean look. There is a always-listening microphone and virtual assistant that uses ‘Hi LG' as a wake phrase and includes a built in tuner with bright saturated colors and very dark blacks with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 making contrast levels seem more vibrant with ambient light sensor to optimize the content for your room. I have had the opportunity to test all the LG available apps and I absolutely love this ability. I have used my TV for streaming and watching regular TV.     Superior High Tech 4K OLED TV
    I had the 65" Gallery Design 4K TV installed today. It is wall mounted so that it sits flush against the wall - the way artwork would hang on the wall. Because the mount bracket is inside the wall, there is no gaggle of unsightly wires hanging out from the TV. There is also hardly any bezel on this model so all you see is gorgeious colored pixels. Honestly, this TV itself is a piece of art. It is high tech, smart, sleek, and sexy. My living room has never looked better than with this TV on the wall. The OLED screen provides superior constrast and true black colors. The OLED colors on the screen are extremely impressive - they are truly rich and jump out at the viewer. There are may options in the setting for the television including different viewing modes other than standard, such as cinema, vivid, HDR effects, Expert (bright room), Expert (dark room), auto power saving mode, sports, game, and film maker. The 4k TV has fluid movement for watching sports and for games so you don't miss any action. I have a whole host of movies lined up waiting to be watched this weekend. The sound from the TV is incredible. I never thought I would say that about a television, but there you have it....I am hearing wonderful rich sounds from this TV before even hooking up my sound system. They have different sound modes other than standard which include AI Sound Pro, cinema, lear voice IV, sports, music, game. The TV sound output can connect to bluetooth, internal TV speakers, WiSA speakers, optical, HDMI Arc, audio out line out, wired headphones. Any of the output sounds can also be used in conjuction with the internal tv speakers. The remote control is great - it also has a pointer and you can see a red dot and point to what you want to select on the TV. It's voice activated - so much better than finding the buttons on the remote in the dark. The remote control / TV is preloaded with several streaming channels including an LG channel. As soon as this pandemic is over, I am hosting a movie night to show off my new toy to all my friends. I love my LG TV and my friends will to. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
