Hybrid Mode Doesn't Work
Hybrid mode doesn't work. Hybrid mode allows the laptop to run on the integrated graphics when you're not gaming, which extends the battery life to about 5 hours. Whenever hybrid mode is enabled, the screen will be completely blacked out when waking up from sleep about 50% of the time. By default, they ship the unit with it disabled, which makes me suspect they know about the issue and are trying to hide it.

Great performance, Charging port/charger are bad.
I bought this laptop to be my main pc for both gaming and college, and its definitely fulfilled both of those needs above and beyond expected. That being said, if you don't buy the extended warranty (Lenovo has a 1 year manufacture warranty) expect to have to get several maintenance bills for the charging port and chargers going out. Over the almost 2 years I've have the laptop (purchased Nov. 2019), I've had to get the charger replace twice now, and the motherboard replace once (so far, having more issues with charging again, hence the review). The charging port and charger are honestly terribly designed, and extremely loose and bound to break over time like mine did. Unless you want to replace your charging port and charger every 9-12 months, stay away from this laptop. These problems have cause me a huge amount of stress for a product that I paid over $1000 for, and Im honestly disappointed in Lenovo for this product. The photos attached are of the charger in the charging port and show the amount of give the port has either way. Reminder, this is a motherboard/port that was replaced once already less than a year ago when under Lenovos manufacture warranty, so it was replaced by a trusted Lenovo specialist that they sent out to me. The laptop does not charge, and the charger is one that I got replaced ~6 weeks ago. There is no reason the laptop should be doing this, the laptop only moves from my desk on rare occasions and is plugged in 99% of the time. Stay away from this laptop, its been great short term, but anything more than a year it starts to break. I will not be buying another laptop from Lenovo.

    Value and Performance
I have to say the laptop moved my design rendering up a notch.... quick and very clear attributes for $1000's less.... Gaming :)) My son runs a 2080 on a desktop and gave this a spin...he sees no difference in performance but would prefer a 17" screen. I am in my 50's and he is 19

The laptop works fibe the problem is the charger. I bought the laptop 11/19 and 5/20 the charger stopped wirking. It started getting lose about a week ago and today it wont charge no matter what i do. I tried tape, adjusting it million times. It doesnt charge the laptop and that is no good. I love the laptop BUT the fan is SO LOUD :(
The laptop is REALLY good in performance, HOWEVER, the fan is also REALLY LOUD. The RAM, the disc, the graphics card, the laptop truly runs flawlessly but when you would start requiring some performance, it turns out a fan that can be listened to 5 meters from afar. The air is not even hot so you can tell the laptop is not like dying, but honestly it gets very bothering sometimes. If you only watch Netflix and browse, it won't turn on, but as soon as you're using something more heavy like a video editor, playing video games or running multiple tasks, the fan turns on and well... If you live alone and can don't get bothered by a fan noise, this laptop is for you. If you live with people and would get tired of jokes like "one od these days your laptop is gonna take off", maaaybe you should consider something else.

    Well Worth the Cost
I am currently in my second week of this notebook and my observations follow: - Limited Bloatware, easily removed - I stress tested the GPU and it is able to dissipate heat well. I have pushed the GPU and CPU to nearly 90C and it is still comfortable on the lap. - It is delightful to look at. Sleek and beautiful. - It's screaming fast. After pressing the power button, we go from fully shut down to ready to go at the password/PIN screen in less than 10 seconds. The BIOS boot is always between 3.0 and 3.5 seconds. - I have yet to play any games that were beyond this machine. Zero problems with Bethesda's Creation Engine on maximum graphics. Zero problems with the Wartech Engine - maximum graphics for Call of Duty: Warzone. - I tried my best to press the GPU with a load of 4k graphic mods on Skyrim: SE and had no problems - a stable 60 FPS. - The keyboard is always responsive, the backlight is always consistent. - No problems with the trackpad, though I do not use it very often. - The Solid state drive reads and writes as it should. Lightning quick without too many heat spikes in SpeedFan. This laptop is well, well worth the money. Lenovo hits a home run again.

    Some games have dark screen.
Good, basic rig. Unfortunately, screen is dark on some games (for the price). Any white background or web page is very bright. Some games it's annoyingly dark.
