Break apart quickly and easily if actually used
I think these are only good for very little kids who are skating in a small house for practice, but never actually take them outside. The velcro straps lasted my 6yo through 1 wear, before they began to Seperate. The 2nd time we wore them on the trail, the velcro strap BROKE IN HALF at the point where it bent back to velcro to itself. Then, the laces broke off! My 6yo son complains CONSTANTLY while wearing these, saying that they hurt his feet (they are sized correctly for him). Finally, these skates WILL NOT go any faster than a slow shuffle. So, don't even bother if you have a kid over 4/5, they'll never be able to gain any speed with them.

    Skate Fun for Kids!
    They are great and work well in adjustment. We went a long way without complaints about the feet hurting in skates. The have good working clasps and eyelets to hold all in place. The wheels light up nicely on the pavement by friction. They roll great! I can get my niece off the couch and away from iPad with good old-fashion fun and exercise!

    Awesome skate
    My 4 years old nephew loves these. They are super stylish and I love how they are adjustable so they will grow with his as his feet get bigger. And all of the wheels light up. My nephew was just so excited to get these for his birthday，it was all he wanted. It was built very sturdy and tight so that it wasn't loose on his feet or ankles, and very nice color.

    The skates seemed to have been previously purchased, used and then returned. This was a gift that I bought for my goddaughters birthday. Quite embarassing when she opened the gift at her birthday party. Since this was something we had to travel out of the country for, we were not able to drive to a local walmart for a return.
