Also the side rails and foot of the frame come up kind of high compared to where the mattress actually sits, which makes the mattress sit low and look much thinner than it really is. This also makes it a bit more difficult to make the bed as the mattress is nestled into the frame. I guess this issue could be fixed with a box spring for more height.Z

The directions are really great and easy to follow. The one thing to be aware of is the height of the bed. It works in our space, but others may like it taller.Val
