Space saving design
Great space saving design. Now I can this folded ping pong table and put it on top of any dinning table. It comes in 2 pieces and each piece folds. Easy to assemble for a quick game. Dismantles into it's space saving design. t comes with its own net.The quality is nice. Not flimsy. The paint is well done and smooth. Should last many years. I recommend it! Don't forget the paddles and the balls!

Nah.
I did not care for it. One of the screws on the hinges was ripped out. Also it folds down the center line and the ball would hit that and bounce off. I wouldn't buy again. It was inexpensive so I'll just give it away.

Not sturdy, hinges scratched up the table
I cannot recommend this. It sounded like a great idea, a table that can be easily put away when you don't want to use it. However, the metal hinges on the underside of the table prevent it from being level or stable. Even worse, the metal hinges left a 5 inch scratch down the middle of the dining table that we put the ping ping table top over. We tried using the foam squares that came with the table to level the pieces and protect our dining table. We even bought additional foam furniture pads to add under the ping ping table. The table comes as two pieces, each folds down the middle vertically with hinges running through the middle lengthwise. There is no way to secure the two separate table pieces to each other. The table pieces never stayed together for an entire game. The hinges down the middle, length wise, caused it to be higher in the center and slope toward the sides. We constantly had to adjust the two table pieces and the net to keep it together for a game. Its smaller than a regular ping pong table, combined with the slope due to the middle hinges, its only ok to play. The table isn't sturdy and doesn't stay together well. There is no connection between the two large pieces other than the two little plastic net clips. Don't think I would buy this again. Maybe this would work ok over a pool table, but use at your own risk because it will damage the table you put it on.

    Happy Purchaser!
For the money, this is a great addition to a pool table/rec room. Seems reasonably solid and the balls play well. Note: another reviewer said no posts were included. I thought the same but then found one of the small cardboard packing pieces was actually a container with them in it. Fast set-up of table as there are no wing-nuts to fiddle with. One note that may be important to users. I have a 7 foot pool table which is considered small yet the set up ping pong table actually sits down ON the playing table and not up on the rails. On the plus side you don't have to chase the balls as much and you can store extras in your pool pocket. Drawback is the pool table rails can interfere with your swing. The 2 sections each had 4 foam protectors pre-stuck on and they gave you 8 more to use as desired which I recommend towards the middle of the boards so no sag. All-in all, very pleased!

    Easy to setup
My kids are very active and enjoy being outside. But with winter around the corner, I was looking for something that can keep them active and occupied when they can't play outside. I'm glad I got this table tennis. It is very heavy, but it comes in two big parts that make it easier to handle. I placed it on a plastic folding table. When we get excited and bump it, it still slides even with extra foam grippers that came with it. We are trying to get better at it. It does stay very level. The balls bounce as expected. The little net stays in place. It is just a bit bigger than our table on all sides. It fits well in our play room with enough room to stand at each end. We had a few rainy days that we used as a practice run. When winter comes, we are ready to have fun.

    Let's play
I like this table top it's easy to secure to your table and removed so that you can store it I kept the box to store it in for in the garage for when it's not a news it was a very big hit at a party we just had . The only thing I can say that I'm not thrilled with this is kind of heavy for one person to be putting it up and taking it down

Very nice heavy duty tennis conversion top!
I'm honestly very impressed with this tennis conversion top! It requires no major assembly and is very easy to setup and put away. It folds up nicely, for easy space saving storage. I don't have a lot of storage space, so I really appreciate that it folds up into a nice compact size (42" x 22" inches). Once it's unfolded, it will fit on top of any billiard table, dining table or any other larger sized table. It's actually quite large and measures 84" x 44" inches when setup. I know it's not official sized, but its plenty big enough to play a good game of tennis on. We currently have it setup on a billiard table in our basement and this fits perfectly on top of it. If your looking to enjoy table tennis in your house, then I would highly recommend this one. I've been very pleasantly surprised by how heavy it feels. It's definitely a high quality piece. I'm sure this will last for many years to come and would definitely recommend!

    Good idea, bad quality
MD Sports medium size folding table tennis conversion top is designed to make any table into a tennis table. It is made of two pieces that connect and form a full table. Each section can be folded into a smaller piece. It is a very good idea because after play time is done, it can easily be stored in a closet or under bed. When unfolded it is 44 inches wide and after the full table is formed it is 84 inches long and a little bit higher than one quarter of inch. When folded each section is 22 inches wide and 42 inches long. It is not heavy to carry around but you have to remember that it is made of two pieces which would not be good to rub against one another because of the paint on top of the board. MD Sport tennis table comes with a table net and two plastic table top posts which is ready for game. It came assembled which is basically 3 hinges on each section attached by screws. Because table is made of what looks like particle board and it is like I mentioned above very thin, one screw is already falling out of its position. It looks like that screw stripped its way out. That happened while I was taking the table out of the box so it makes you wonder how long it will be before other screws starts falling out. It is a very nice design and idea for table tennis conversion but I wish that they used better quality materials.
