Don't buy
The laptop keeps freezing and after the 3rd time of freezing it completely reset its self and that took over 8 hours. Only thing that I installed on the computer was a photo editing program. If it can't handle that how is it supposed to play games. This is going back it's not worth $5 to me.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/02/2022Excellent value! My son had been wanting a gaming computer or laptop and after lots of research, I decided on this oneā¦ and I am happy I did! You can't beat the price! All of his games work great on this and he is very happy with it and has even recommended it to a few of his friends! The only issue (that I knew was going to be an issue before ordering it) was the available memory.. so I bought a portable external hard drive for under $100 for this reason. We just leave this hard drive plugged in at all times and it works exactly the sameā¦ and all of his games are on this hard drive.. so whenever it is time for a new computer, he won't have to download them again and he has tons of memory available for more games! We are very happy with this purchase and my son has been using it daily for almost a full year now with no issues at all.Rbayne

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/01/2022Some what okayI have brought several different computers but this one is the best the only this I would say is that it's battery runs out in a short time after about 30 minutes I have to plug it back up I thought it was just me but after I got this system 10 days ago I realized it was the only way I can use it is if I literally keep it plugged up next it gets to hot after about 5 minutes of being on it gets extremely hot to the touch but other than these two things the computer has worked greatHanover

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/05/2022Good Gaming Laptop,if a web cam is not needed. This computer is pretty fast. It plays most of my games with no lag. You do hear the fan a lot however. The main reason why I am not leaving a higher score, there appears to be a web cam,but it is not hooked up. I also wish the Laptop had more storage. Preferably 500GB SSD or higher. I could add a HDD,but not sure how it would effect the Warranty.michael

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/25/2022Do not buyDo not buy this. I bought 2 for my kids both are broken, one has fully crashed and will not operate due to it cannot recover the windows OS. The other shuts off randomly by itself no matter the fan or voltage settings the stress on the cpu is too high to do anything other than browse I wish I could get a full refund on both. Sad.Katherine

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/01/2022bad bad bad msi computerokay so yall want details. this is garbage theres a ton of bloatware that isnt needed it downloads are slow af. Make sure you complete the entire setup imcluding intel graphics command center and make sure your display is set as primary or as soon as you hdmi it to say a smart tv it will remove your display and replace it with the smart tv as primary and your screen stops working i had this for 4 days i reset it 3 times reinstalled windows 3 times and still had the same result also it gets super warm after about 10 mins even when not gaming. Do Not follow the online instructions or youll void your warranty return it or dont buy itDeborah

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/11/2022Ignore the low score reviewsLook through all the low score reviews and notice people are complaining about stuff that to be expected from a budget gaming laptop. They didn't look into what they needed and/or we're buying. I bought this last week to game a bit during downtime at work. I have another gaming laptop and a gaming desktop that also doubles as a miner. Overall it has good specs for what you pay in the current market. Ive played several games off gamepass and everything has been good so far with most game getting in that 60fps range (med for older games and low/med on newer games) I initially used it as is with 8gb of ram but i had a 8gb stick laying around and after installing it i had a good boost to multitasking and gaming. Storage space is low (as expected at this price) but the give you a bracket for an SSD and there is another m.2 slot in there. Another 256 gb SSD or m.2 can be found for $25-$30 and 512gb for $45-$55. It'll be a must if you want to install more than 2-3 games since format and windows itself bring down available space. For those of you that were expecting a card that would play newer VR games with a budget laptop. For VR to work with consistent framerates for all/most new VR games you need an RTX card with 8gb of Vram moving forward. Start looking at laptops that are around double this price. Battery life in most gaming laptop isn't going to be great. It's the nature of having a video card drawing a lot of power from the battery when gaming. You also need to factor in that they have limited space in these so you only have room for so much battery in already cramped area. Check online and I'm sure there are bigger aftermarket batteries for a decent price since MSI sells a lot of these. The good news is that when not gaming it uses the lower powered GPU that Intel includes with the processor so when doing basic tasks it'll help keep thing going longer. Tweek the brightness and other setting for maximum battery and in my experience i got around 4.5-5 hours with writing documents, checking emails browsing the web at 50% bright levels. On the other end of the spectrum Gaming on 50% bright got me about 2 hours 20 min to go from 100%-20%. Overall the hardware and style of the laptop is great and well worth what i paid. For around $50-$60 you can double the ram and ssd space available. MSI did a great job of protecting the screen with a metal cover. Overall this is just fine for most people as an entry level gaming laptop and/or multi use laptop.THEKRAUT
