love it!
What an awesome teapot. Always wanted a whistling teapot and now I have one. As usual, Mainstays has great products. This teapot is not only stylish but easy to use. Now I don't have to stand over the stove to watch a pot of water boil. I just fill it, put it on the burner, and forget it until the whistle blows. Great teapot.

Tea kettle
It's a good size for me, I'm basically the only one who drinks tea. I love the stainless steel because it goes with my décor. I smelled a bit of like melting when using but have not seen any yet. And the whistle is VERY low, so u have to be listening. It's a bit flimsy, but it has worked pretty good so far.

    Not too bad
    I got this product shipped to me to review it. It came scratched and had a sticker with someone else's name on it. I added water and started warming it. The water was boiling but no whistle. I turned down the heat (I have an electric stove so I'm not sure if that's why) after about 5 minutes of boiling and then it whistled. It wasn't very loud. Which is perfect for my needs. If you're looking for a very loud whistle this may not be the one for you. Overall, it worked as it's supposed to. The color was great as well!

    Nice and simple tea kettle
    The Mainstays 1.8 Liter Whistle Tea Kettle is made of a light stainless steel. It's the perfect size for making a pot of hot tea. It heats quickly on my stove and whistles when the water is ready for the tea pot. It's a pretty bright red, which makes it look happy in my little kitchen. I would recommend this particular tea kettle for anyone in the market. Though light in weight, it is sturdy and well made.

    Quick and easy tea!
    I really like this little Mainstays whitsle tea kettle, it is easy to clean and easy to quickly make my tea! I love sweet tea so I make a gallon a day so this is a great. I love the red it matches my kitchen! The only bad I can say is that it is not the best quality be easy on the handle.

    Perfect size kettle
    Really enjoying my new kettle. Just the perfect size for several cups of tea without being too big. When I was getting it and was described as stainless i was thinking that it would be just that, however its a delightfully what looks likes powder coated paint. See pic for the color I did receive and it goes very nicely in my kitchen.

    Mainstays Whistling Tea Kettle
    I am a fan of tea kettles and have wanted one for years for my stove top. I finally got one. It is a perfect size for one person. It holds 1.8 liters of water It has fill lines on it but they are very hard to see on the inside when filling it You would have to tip it sideways to see the lines. It has an average size opening on top to fill it and a stainless steel lid that pop on and holds tight. The top also has a resin like ball that does not get hot to the touch and makes it easy to open. The handle has hinges on it so it can go from side to side of needed. The handle to has a resin like material so that you can pick it up off of the stove. The spout had a hinged opener/closer. It too is on hinges and there is a place for your finger to press on the opener and it will move into place and stay open until you close it. Then it is sealed shut. It is an attractive style, very light weight and I like the features it has.

    My Mainstay 1.8 Liter Whistle Tea Kettle is so nice. I love the way it fits in my kitchen and on my stove. It has two lines on it for max fill and a min fill. It has a loud whistle on it to let you know its ready for you. It comes with a flyer full of interesting instructions. I was amazed there was so many. For a stainless Steel tea kettle I just assumed you fill it and put on your stove. Not! So be sure you do read them. The kettle is a little lighter in weight than you would expect being it is stainless steel. I do really like my kettle and I highly recommend the Mainstay 1.8 Liter kettle. It does come in many colors so it will go with any color scheme you have in your kitchen.

    A "perfect" little tea kettle.
    The “Mainstays 1.8-Liter Stainless Steel Whistle Tea Kettle” works real well and looks good with my existing stainless steel appliances too! It is just the right size and when full it is very easy to handle. If it was larger I would not be able to lift it and would certainly have trouble pouring it. The handle is made just right for my hand and I have had no problem pouring the hot water from it. It really does whistle and is very easy to hear. I would say this is a "perfect' little tea kettle and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

    Tea Party Time
    The day we got this stainless steel tea pot we put it to use. My wife told my three girls we were going to have a tea party. The all got decked out in dresses and hats and waited for the pot to whistle. At first we were disappointed because we didn't think it was going to whistle when it was ready. To our excitement we were wrong. They loved it and it worked great. The kettle cooked down rather quickly and was easy to clean.
