Great lamp, great price!
This lamp is just what I needed, and you can't beat the price! The shades are plastic, but handled carefully they seem sturdy. I put a 40W bulb in the lower section as the 60W was too bright. The 3-way on the top offers a soft glow for tv time, but you can make it bright when searching for the remote! It's sturdy and stands straight. Just be careful when assembling not to twist the wires too much, or to tighten the shade holders too tight. It was easy to assemble. It's very tall, so I couldn't put it exactly where I wanted (covered up a shelf), but it works well where I have it. Very pleased.

My lamp was sent cracked and the box was opened and the light bulbs that comes with it weren't in there

    Nicer than expected.
    Perfect for the price and functionality. Easy setup. For the price, don't expect too much. More of something temporary that may eventually make it thru a few years.

    It works. Its metal coated in black plastic and the lampshades are so thin you could bend them with almost no force. Behind a chair where no one walks is fine and it does work well so far though and price cant be beat

    You get what you pay for
    This lamp is functional, which is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. It is NOT Silver as pictured. It is a flat grey color that looks like it should be in a work shop. The lamp shades are a very flimy plastic, and the screw attachment for the large shade is stripped, making it wobble if touched. Also, the turn on/off switches don't match eachother. The large lamp switch is silver, and the small lamp switch is black. ((Shrug)) It is what it is....just not as pictured :) If you're looking for a lamp that's functional, but don't want to spend a lot of money because you have a high energy little one...and, what it looks like isn't too big of a deal- This lamp is for you!- just make sure you have some tape on hand for that wobbly shade.

    A lot of lamp for the money! I am so pleased with this purchase. I bought the "silver", thinking it would be chrome, but it is grey. That was fine with me as the cabinets around my little office are grey, as are my curtains. It was so easy to put together, took me all of 5 minutes to twist the connected pieces together, no tools required. Just follow the instructions, especially when it comes to putting on the shades. And be gentle as you pull the cord through the rods. As inexpensive as this lamp was, I was surprised that it really is a 3-way, but it does use a 3-way bulb in the large globe, a 30-70-100 watt 3-way bulb is what I'm using.

    It was damaged
    The inside actual lamp package was damaged and creaked open holes. Item was scratched and dust inside. I am surprised they packed the damaged merchandise and shipped out.

    Got a previously opened item w/missing parts
    The packaged had obviously been opened before. It was probably a returned item because the smaller light shade was completely bent, the washer for the smaller shade is too big that wont stay on, and there is no switch for the bigger light. I have to plug/unplug it to turn on. Images included. There is no way to contact the seller like with other items.
