Great fit
The Mainstays NexGen Zippered Mattress Protector is a life saver. This product is fantastic. It helps prevent dust from getting on your mattress. It's also good if you have a small child who sometimes sleeps in your bed and me wet the bed on occasion. This will completely protect your mattress from any spills or any little accidents. It is easy to put on your mattress. I would highly recommend everyone.

This is trash
I would not recommend this product to anybody my husband and I were really careful of putting this on to our mattress but it ripped in so many places I had to throw it away

    Great cover
    I have two kids that they like to sleep with parents lol. Something they have an accident so this cover helps to prevent that. I really like it because it doesn't make that noisy plastic when we sleep on... this is thicker, work for 18" deep and cover perfect to our mattress. I put on by myself and takes about 10 minutes, please use a mattress cover before to put the sheets maybe you can't be uncomfortable and get hot for some many people. I don't have any issues with this. Before, I had one that was plastic and with elastic but over time it was damaged.

    This Mattress pad is huge I have an 8 inch mattress and theyreMattress pad is huge I have an 8 inch Twin mattress and there is still about 3 inches of extra material left. Almost impossible to put a sheet on.

    An investment must
    We love our Mainstays mattress protector. I have a large sweaty husband and three dogs that sleep and hang out on my bed. And protecting my thousand dollar mattress is a must. I figure if I am going to spend that much on a mattress it only makes sense to protect my investment. We spend a lot of time in our bed, so we snack and drink, and the dogs are very messy. And this wonderful mattress protector saves me a great deal of stress and you do not even know it is there. Because it is so quiet and soft, I have had other that were like a plastic sheet, and thats not comfortable. I think everyone should use these, and at this price point, who can't afford too.

    lightweight and works well
    I have a 7 year old who tends to spill water on my bed when we are watching tv together so I am prepared with this Mainstays NexGen Zipper Mattress Encasement. I like that it is lightweight and easy to slide into my mattress. The NexGen is a fabric alternative to vinyl mattress protectors which is stronger. I place my quilted mattress cover and fitted sheet over this mattress protector so it is comfortable when I lay down. Recommended care is to wipe clean with a damp cloth.

    Not so great mattress cover
    We bought an old bed frame that came with a mattress that was in pretty good shape so we didn't want to throw it out. We got this zipper mattress cover to protect from dust mites and other allergens. Positives - was easy to install and fits the mattress with room to spare. Negatives - it feels like plastic covered paper, it crunches when you like down and roll around, and it tore when we were putting it on. We won't be buying it again.

    does it's job
    this mattress protector does it's job well. It is water and sweat proof so my mattress won't get sweaty after hot summer nights. It is made out of polyethylene and feels like a light plastic cover. when you put your sheet on, it does make a slight plastic sound, but not loud, and you cannot feel any difference with your sheets. this is a queen size up to 12 inches deep, so it fits my 11 inch mattress just right. it has a zipper closure and is easy to put on. it is also easy to clean, you just wipe it with a damp cloth. I am very happy that it also protects against allergens and that it has a three year warranty.

    Good mattress cover
    The thing I liked most about this mattress cover was that it had a zipper. It keeps the mattress cover from coming off or bunching up. The material feels kind of "crunchy", but once you put the sheet over it, it's fine. My son spilled some water on it, and none of it got through to the mattress. I would recommend this to a friend.

    This Mainstays NexGen Waterproof Zippered Mattress Protector is very good quality. Before I put it on I gave it a good waterproof test and it passed with flying colors. And it's very strong, it didn't tear while I was tugging on it to put it on. It's very soft and flexible so it doesn't make noise when you shift around in bed. And it's been staying in place like it should. It doesn't trap in a lot of heat but I still put a blanket in between the cover and the sheet. The cover was actually easy to put on. The zipper runs all the way across the bottom and then about one fourth up on each side, so it unzipped far enough to make it easy to put on. Just flip the mattress up on end and you can easily slip it over the top and down. I tried doing this by myself but got tired of repeatedly going from one side to the other so I had someone help, then it went faster. It doesn't state that it's bedbug proof. But the stitches seem tight so I think if you put tape over the zipper it might make it bedbug proof enough to protect your mattress. This fits mattresses up to 12 inches. My mattress is more like 11 inches so the cover is a bit loose but it still works just fine. I have a guest bed that still needs a cover so I think I'll get another one of these to use on for that one too.
