Excellent Stock Pot
I got this 8 quart stock pot because I've recently taken up canning. It's the perfect size to boil 1/2 pint jelly jars in. I am thinking of making some chicken chili in it for Super Bowl Sunday. It's the perfect size pot, not too big. Comes with flat lid.

Home built Berkey water filter system!
One was perfect. The other wasn't fully cleaned up at the factory and had some dings and scratching. I was able to work around the second pot with a Brillo pad and I was able to hide the other blems. I built a homemade berkey water filtration system from these! Best water I've ever had. I bought the filters from shtfandgo.

    If you love to make soups, this is a must have!
    This I was super excited about as I love making homemade soups and sauces! Being able to do another 48 cups at a time is perfect for loading the deep freezer. This pot is lightweight, so easy to move around, especially once it is filled. The pan heats evenly without scorching sauce when stirred every 15 minutes, which is a big deal as some pans will scorch sauce no matter how much you stir it. I like the depth of the pan as making chicken stock you can use less water as the veggies and bones are not widespread so the broth comes together nicely without having to reduce so much to lose the taste of water in your broth. I am a huge fan of the lightweight lid instead of glass as I simmer my pots for 6-9 hours so being able to leave an opening without fear of the lid falling and shattering is important. This stockpot will be used over and over again as cleaning it was simple, even after simmering sauce for 8 hours. The handles are just at a slight angle, which I also like as I stack my stockpots within each other and this allows them to stack easily without taking up so much room.

    Nice Pot
    If you have a big family, this is for you. Also great for special dinners, parties, or family get-togethers. I was impressed with it being stainless steel but still lightweight. At my age, being lightweight is good. I can't wait to make a big pot of stew, a simmering pot of soup, or maybe my own creation.

    Nice Noodle Pot
    I have a large family and so I make big batches of homemade chicken noodle soup. I ordered this stockpot because I keep needing bigger batches of soup. My 8 qt pot seemed to do fine for about 20 people but sometimes I need to feed about 30 people now. After the holidays, when turkey is left over, I use that to make big batches of soup and homemade rolls for all the family still visiting. I am excited to have a bigger pot and make more soup for everyone. I am hoping that the stainless steel will last a long time. It came very well packaged and looks beautiful.

    Perfect for stews and more
    This pot is so light and easy to store and wash. Perfect for my corned beef and cabbage stew along with all my soups I make. Like the size of this. Never had one this shape before and found I really like the height of it. Only "issue" is it is hand wash but I will probably end up throwing it in the dishwasher one day and see what happens. And since I have issues holding things too heavy the lightness of this pot is ideal for people with arthritis or such. Enjoy

    Very Nice Stockpot!
    Every fall I make marinara with all the tomatoes I saved (in the freezer) from my vegetable garden. After making marinara this fall, I decided to make homemade lye soap - and guess which pot I used! Now, no longer usable for making red sauce, it was time for a replacement stockpot. This stockpot is the same size as my original but without the stains from lye and essential oils, and the scratches from my inversion blender. I won't be using this stockpot for soap-making! I expect it will help me make some killer marinara in the fall. I'll also use it to make beef broth using the beef bones from Christmas dinner, and to make some chicken soup to can. It's the perfect size to use when preparing foods for canning. I would recommend this stockpot for anyone cooking large stovetop batches for canning, or just for a crowd!

    Great to pop popcorn!!
    This Mainstays Stainless Steel Pot with Lid is good. It would be good to pop popcorn. A good size. It's deep enough to not spill while stirring but not too tall to reach on stove eye. The only thing is it's not as thick as stock pots I've cooked in before, but then again those were commercial I think. It's ok thick. It will be good for soup, chili, a whole chicken, etc. And I really like the lid. It sure comes in handy! All in all a good pot to have in my collection!

    I really like the Mainstays Stainless Steel 12 Quart Stockpot With Lid. This stockpot is made from stainless steel. And will hold up to twelve quarts. The stockpot comes with two handles on each side. The stockpot also comes with a stainless steel lid. With a handle on the top of the lid. This stockpot is made for large family get togethers, Or making soups,sauces .Or any thing you need to make a large quantity's of. I have smaller stock pots that just didn't seem large enough. But this twelve quart stockpot is large enough to cover all my cooking needs now and in the future. I've noticed while using the stockpot the handles on the stock pot stays cool enough to handle the stockpot and the lid without burning my fingers. Witch I find to be a great advantage while cooking. This stockpot will make a great addition to all my cook wear. I'm very happy with the mainstays stainless steel twelve quart stockpot.

    2 Quart Pot with Lid
    This is a basic stock pot, great for many recipes. And at an affordable price, It's about 8" tall and doesn't take a lot of room of the stove top. I've had a few similar and was totally satisfied with their long-lasting performance. I'm pleased with these basic yet useful pots.

    Plenty big...
    This 12 quart stock pot is a great size for soups, chili, big pasta meals, etc. It will work out perfectly for big dinners when we have family over and especially for the Holidays! It measures approximately 9.5" deep x 10" in diameter. Both the pot and the lid are stainless steel, no glass lid. Also, this stock pot is very lightweight. The only issue I had was trying to clean the stock pot before using it. It's so big, it barely fits in my sink. Still, it is with out a doubt a great size stock pot to keep on hand! This one, for us, is definitely plenty big enough. I am 100% satisfied with my new Mainstays Stock Pot and would recommend to anyone.
