Best pump for the price and in general
I have a 55gal tank...my other 2 pumps broke because the water was low for too long and I needed a quick replacement and (with just the one pump) it works perfectly. I've had it for about a month now and it is very quiet and works great!! Very pleased considering it was so cheap!!!!

    filter defective
    My previous filter was old and getting loud, so I bought a penguin power filter model #75. after 2 months and several days after cleaning, 2 of my fish's were sucked against the intake tube, the water was very hot, as well as the outside of the filter. Very upsetting and a defective filter.

    Nice Designed Power Filter but a Little Noisy
    I like the design of this power filter and LOVE the fact that the roller filter never has to be replaced.....just only cleaned with warm water. This filter is the perfect size for my 32-gallon fish tank. What I don't like about it is the fact that it's a little noisier than the one I had of a different brand. It almost sounds like a waterfall, so if you like the sound of running water, then you will love this product.

    Previous one lasted 7 years
    I haven't installed this filter yet, but I bought it to replace one just like it. The one I have like this one lasted about 7 years. I find the bio-wheel very efficient in providing effective filtration, and I'm satisfied with this filter's performance.

    Worst ever
    This is the worst filter ever! Gets super noisy, I only have a 20 gallon with one South American cichlid, I keeps acting up! I have to unplug it wait then plug back on now not even 90 days later its dead! Ridiculous I did my homework these penguins are supposed to be great! The front wheel always in a stopped position ridiculous! Ive hade tanks over 20 hrs never dealt with this!
