Poor Quality Control
I ordered one of these, the ladle, as others remarked, was damaged. I didn't read the reviews before I ordered, so I wasn't aware of this systemic problem. Long and short, I had Sam's send me two more in succession, and they all had the Exact. Same. Damage. Poor Quality Assurance. Boooo.

    Nice
    Have not used yet but it appears to be very nice. The tureen is very large in size! I deducted a star due to the ladle having imperfection on bottom, same complaint as all the other. All in all very nice

    Tureen Was Very Nice; Ladle Not So.
    The only thing that was a negative is the ladle. There were 3 non-glazed points where I imagine used for firing.

    Cute but not the best quality
    I ordered 2 of these. The pumpkins are really cute, but both of the ladles are damaged. They both have defects in the paint/ finish.

    Great idea not the best design.
    This is an easy to clean and now design. Seems pretty durable and love the aesthetics of the product. I have two issues with this. The one of the rough spots on the bottom of the ladle. Three circular rough spots that if not cared for correctly could be a bacterial breeding ground. The second is the lid, there is no grip to remove it when placed on top. It is too smooth and no lip that will allow you to really grab this easily and remove. My wife cannot so it at all and so she will use the sides or the ladle inside to help remove the lid. I love the seasonal application of this product and that it promotes the use of soups in our home. My children find it fun and are excited when we pull it out. Even if they will refuse to eat what is inside.

    I love the pumpkin. I had read the prior reviews for this and sadly my order also had minor scratches on the spoon and pumpkin. I'm giving this two stars because of the scratches and broken pieces.

    Alright product for the price point.
    The soup tureen is amazing but my ladle came broken & chipped in several places. I kept it & bought a replacement white ceramic ladle.

    Pumpkin soup tureen
    Love my new pumpkin soup tureen- such a nice size! Only complaint is the ceramic ladle has three spots where the finish was painted over. No chips were apparent. Overall, an amazing deal!
