Excellent Cleaner for Rubber
I have Chrome Plated Plastic Hubcaps. It cleans my tires and hubcaps and rinses clean. I even use a brush in the fine crevices. Afterwards I use an Aerospace Protectant. Two Years and tires and hubcaps look brand new. A SECOND coating if tires still look brownish.

A Powerful Wheel Cleaner
I wanted to try HotRims for a long time, its as good as people said about getting your wheels clean. This vehicle has not been maintained or driven in at least three years. I used a Vent Detail Brush also purchased from Walmart to scrub the wheels. The foam instantly turned brown once the cleaner was agitated. In the attached picture, the wheels look astonishing for a vehicle that is 18 years old. The downside is the paint seems thinner on the plastic center caps. I don't blame the product because it is an aggressive cleaner used on old paint... This wheel cleaner does great for the price and don't expect miracles to remove caked on crud from years of driving.

    Great stuff cleans well. Dosen't turn purple like the all wheel cleaner but worked fine for me. Needs a decent amount of scrubbing on my old dirty wheels.

    I recommend this wheel cleaner.
    Great product. Important to note, there is NO product on the market that will ‘dissolve' (and make disappear, simply by spraying), brake dust on wheels/rims. However, this product does what it promises... it ‘lifts' and loosens it, making the removal of brake dust much easier. I first sprayed it on rims, then drove through a car wash. It was not successful. See pics. However, after that first application, I could literally wipe the brake dust off with my fingers. See pics. I sprayed a second coat. Then, using only paper towels, I was able to wipe the wheels clean. Due to the grooves in my wheels, it took approximately 15 mins to do a thorough job. It has been over a week since I cleaned my wheels with Meguires, and it appears to have a deterring affect on new brake dust. My wheels have far less brake dust on them compared to the rate of accumulation prior to cleaning.
