unhappy with product - no coverage
halloween costume, full face makeup whit base. would not spread, had to dob and would not cover, left uneven light patches, came off during might leaving patches, ruined my whole costume look, flaked

    The cream makeup is pigmented and it washes off easily so that's good. It's small but it's cheap. Good.

    Oww! Doggone it!
    Unlike the white, I was pretty satisfied with the black. It had good coverage and just the right texture. It didn't clump. I suggest coloring a thin space around your eyes with an eyeliner as black as you can find it. I got a little too close with the face paint. I reflexively blinked, which drew a big black glob into my eye. My eyeball got coated in a blackish film that I could barely see through. It took a great deal of time and a great amount of discomfort before I was able to stop weeping from that eye. I already had on my white basecoat and found it very difficult to cover up the black tears. No one likes a sad skull.

    Oh boy
    I am very familiar with the application of theatrical makeup. On a positive note, it didn't smear like normal greasepaint. However, neither did it cover very well. I am caucasian. Every time I moved to another area after finishing a part of my face, before I could finish the new area, my pink skin was peeking through the area I thought I had finished. I lost track of the number of coats I had to use to make my face into a skull... and I was using a finger instead of a brush, so the layers weren't exactly sparse. As a result of all the layers, the finished product grew very dry and almost immediately began to flake. The shallow cups of white are much better. You may have to scratch your face by poking it with a toothpick, but it stays put so long as you don't sweat heavily. I actually expected the tube to be better than those ubiquitous shallow round plastic cups. Next time, if I can't find that really cheap stuff that does the job, I may actually invest in some professional white pancake makeup. It took almost 4 hours to do a simple skeleton... more than half of that on the white basecoat. I had to rush on the teeth. Unless you spend the majority of your time on your smile, it tends to turn a great job into something cheesy. The finished result was way below my expectations for myself.
