The  1-Outlet Digital Water Timer with Advanced Functions & Independent Start Times is a really great product, I really like the  1-Outlet Digital Water Timer with Advanced Functions & Independent Start Times because I can water my vegetable garden and lawn and my trees all at the same time , the water will come on at whatever time you set each section for. The  1-Outlet Digital Water Timer with Advanced Functions & Independent Start Times , makes watering very easy.

Never Forget YourPlants-Melnor Digital Water Timer
This is my review on a four- spigot, Digital Water Timer that includes Advanced Functions. This item is produced by Melnor. With this item you can set your own schedule for watering your lawn, garden, or flower beds. The timer has a front screen display that shows the time(s) and day(s) you have set for each individual areas. One disadvantage, is that you cannot set the amount of time you want. The timer is already programmed for 2, 4, .... hours. You can however, schedule a particular day (s) when you want to water an specific area. It will also work manually, if so desired. So far, it appears to keep accurate time and the programming is easy. As usual, the instructions are located in the back of the item, if you need help.The instructions are easy to follow. You can even set up a "rain delay" when bad weather is headed your way. The digital screen requires two AA Alkaline batteries. The battery's potency status is also shown on the digital screen. Just for your information, you may notice a difference in the water pressure in your home, when the outside hoses are in use. As we all know, watering a lawn or garden is very time consuming. With the Melnor, Four -Zone Digital Water Timer, it takes the work off your hands and delivers water to you lawn and garden. All you have to do is set-up the hose (s) and program the Melnor timer. Another plus of owning this product is the fact that you can set your timer and the days for watering when you are on vacation or a business trip. This will eliminate worrying about your flowers and vegetables while you are not home. I can definitely say that this is a much needed item at my house. I recommend you trying this out instead of wasting your time, standing outside, watering your plants while the Mosquitoes and Gnats feed on your arms and legs.

    Great Multi Hose Timer
    This timer has a fairly intuitive setup. You just put in the batteries, set the clock time, attach it to the faucet, attach the hose, and set the zone "On" and "Off" time. When it reaches the "On" time the hose comes on and waters until the time you set to "Off." There are 4 outlets so you can have 4 hoses with different on and off times. You can choose days to water or not to water. There is a rain delay hold so it won't water while it's raining. The batteries stayed dry in their compartment. Overall, a very sturdy and high quality timer.

    Effective (and fun) to use!
    Although we don't have to frequently set-up a timed (grass) water system, we recently used this to have a "sprinkler party" for a kids party. It was fun to have the separate hoses and changing the sprinkler that was on (without having to "interrupt" the fun). It helped "save" the lawn from getting over-watered in one play spot. This is not it's intended use, but it works! =D

    A lush yard at the push of button
    Melnor's HydroLogic Digital Water Timer have for anyone who loves a lush green yard and/or garden. With the four spickets it can be used in four zones it you chose or more water to just one zone. The Melnor HydroLogic Digital WaterTimer, features multiple timing capabilities allowing you to set each zone or spicket to water up to four times a day. It also allows you to choose specific days. So, say for instance you live in a drought restricted area and can only water your lawn on certain days and/or a certain time, simply set the times to specific day and/or time, then forget about it, your lawn is as watered. This timer has an easy to understand and use push button settings with an easy to see digital screen. The one major drawback in my opinion is that it needs two “AA” batteries to operate and there is no “alarm” or notification letting you know that they are getting low. So, my suggestion is to make sure to put fresh batteries in if you are going on vacation or for an extended period. Also, make sure to check at least once a month to ensure that your Melnor HydroLogic Digital Water Timer's batteries are still working properly. Other then that this water timer is amazing, and I highly recommend this product it practically guarantees that your lawn is green, and your garden is lush.

    Very nice timer.
    We use a lot of drip irrigation and this times is perfect. Each outlet had a separate start time which makes this the equivalent of four timers in one. You can water on specific days or everyday. I love the rain feature where you can easily skip watering up to 7 days! Has a manual feature too if you want to water extra sometimes. Now to program it took me some time to figure it out and get it right. Would give 5 stars if easier to program! So far works great!

    Melnor is Keeping our Lawn Beautiful! Easy to Use!
    My favorite part, while you are in the yard working and do not have a watch or phone with you. The clock on the timer will. This is so awesome! You can set zones up to be turned on when ever you want it. Want to water something for 15 minutes in one area at one time and another for an hour at another time, just set it to do so. This is an awesome little item that everyone with big yards don't know they need it, until they use it. This is a great buy and is worth every penny! Easy to use and set!

    I was very pleased to be given the opportunity to review this product..It is a great help to me since I live in an area with water restrictions and now I don't have to get up at 5 am to water my grass. This model has many settings...some of which I will probably never use but it's nice to have them...It's very easy to program..You can choose days to water and days not to...You are able to select 4 individual start times per day..which is great if you have new sod or have recently seeded...You can skip watering when rain is in the forecast...Those just some of the settings. I am very pleased with this product and am not reluctant to recommend it..The only negative would be that you can only water one zone/area at a time and if you have a large area to water then a 2 or 4 zone timer would work best for you.

    Super Melnor 4-Outlet Digital Water Timer
    I really like this Melnor 73280 4-Outlet Digital Water Timer with Advanced Functions & Independent Start Times. It is a great idea and lets you connect up to 4 different hoses. Each of the 4 outlets / valves has 4 independent cycles that can water on individual days of the week so basically you can water each of 4 areas up to 4 times per day. But it also has a convenient “Manual” button that can be used if you do not want to program it, but ideally that is for the occasional time when you would want to manually use one or more of the hoses without having to change your programmed times. The screen size is nice and easy to read – if you saw their older model this screen is about 25% larger. This is a great device that lets you operate your watering more like an irrigation system. The trouble with manually turning on a sprinkler or soaker hose is that it is easy to forget about it and have it run for much longer than you intended or even overnight. This solves that problem. The timer also lets you water at times that are not as convenient for you to manually do it yet are better for your lawn. Those times like early morning just before sunrise or late in the evening after the sun has set and things have cooled off a bit. I recommend this controller unit for your watering needs from lawn and shrubs to cleaning the driveway.

    Great Water Time
    This water time seems well made. From a good quality plastic construction. It's heavy to to hold. You can tell it has quality made parts on the inside. Your going to need two double AA batteries there not included with the water timer. This four zone water timer has a large enough to see LCD screen. Without having to use my reading glasses to see the screen. Witch is nice. On the right side of the LCD screen is a large round multi function button to program the LCD screen. Inside the packaging is included three one page pamphlets in French, Spanish, And English. There's only twelve steps to programming the whole timer. The instructions are very easy to understand. And so is programming very easy to do. Even the water inlet to the water time is made from brass. With a heavy duty rubber wheel for attaching the unit to your outside water faucets. It has a new screen and rubber water seal included that works great for me with no leaks. This unit comes with four water zones. Or you can connect up to four water line that are sealed individually from the other water lines. To program anyway, Time, Or Day of the week you choose. I like everything about this water timer and all of it's zones and features.
